The Asteroid M arc from X-Men v2 was what made me get into Mags in the first place.

I really like the whole Claremont era, though. So I'm not so sure.

Sentry has really done nothing on panel. Fighting Galactus to a stand-still was something Spider-Man said... that's not a very trustful source. It would be very in-character if he had said it jokingly only to provoke awe of Sentry's power.

The only fight against a real foe he's had was Genis-Vell, and that wasn't going very well...

616 Hyperion from Squadron Sinister was owned by Thor, IIRC...

I don't think he'd be much of a match for Sentry. Regular Hyperion from Squadron Supreme, though (712), I couldn't really say. Not much of a fan.

That's a good point, Zantin. Evil Hyperion had trouble beating 2 other ones, after he killed every powerful being in his earth by himself... That's a huge power variation that can only be attributed to writing inconsistencies.

That evil Hyperion was leagues beyond regular Hyperyon (that is, if power was meassured in leagues).

Not even Sentry could face him.
