"Your mother was many things. A runner was never one of em." Spit flew from the Ultra-Sapien's lips as he verbally condemned the Lost LeBeau's commentary. Lucian however was visibly more open to the idea of at least discussing the issue. He, after all, had always shared an unwavering bond with his sister. William's mother. A bond a father, even a caring one - which Charlemagne was not - could never supersede, understand, or feel.
"My name is Lucian. That's my father Charlemagne." the Blue-eyed Genetic Blueprint fostered. More relaxed and welcoming then before. "Now what do you mean she 'left' you? William I was there when you were born -" "We both were" Charlemagne interrupted. "-Right, we both were. There the entire while she carried you to term and its hard to believe that the sister I knew would then up and abandon her baby. LeBeaus...we're a wicked sort. But we dont abandoned our own."

The vein along the right ridge of the obviously agitated militant's forehead flexed and for a moment, it almost seemed as if the old war bastard was about to make that move. That move that once made could never be taken back and win lose or draw ended with a man, or boy, toes up.
"Hey hey pop come on now." Lucian deflect. Verbally as well as physically. Leaning a shoulder and positioning himself not between, but not off to the side either, in a passive manner to separate the two. Or really, to just slightly separate his father.
"William if you were abandoned as a child, then who raised you? Were they the ones who told you your mother left?" Lucian questioned.
