Another thing to try is this: I'm sending fan letters en mass to CN. If the letters are in by noon (EST) on Monday the 4th, I'll include them in the box.

Here's the email to send them to: saveyjandgltas@gmail.com

I'm doing something a little more direct. I'm sending a box full of fan letters to CN. Feel free to spread word and/or write a letter and email it to me by noon (EST) on Monday.

I'm sending a box with a Reach bottle and GLTAS flower to CN headquarters along with letters from fans. If you email me with a letter by noon (EST) on this upcoming Monday, I'll include it in the box. Even if you just pass the message along to fans of both shows that would be a great help.

Hello, Young Justice fans! I'm here on behalf of the efforts to get YJ and GLTAS renewed. As I am already sending CN a box with a Reach bottle and GLTAS blue flower and the box will have plenty of extra space, I'm filling the box with letters sent to me by fans of both shows. This is helpful in that it lets international fans get physical copies of letter to CN without having to pay for expensive postal service, physical copies have more weight to them (both figuratively and literally) than emails, and it groups together our voices and makes us a united front.

Therefore, I would like to ask that you all take a stab at writing a letter or at least pass this message on to those who might. If you do choose to write one, I'd ask that you include GLTAS in it (at least a mention, as it has suffered as well) and be polite. No threatening words, etc. I would like all letters to be in by noon (EST) on this upcoming Monday, though I will wait to send if someone thinks they'll need more time.

Email the letter to me at: saveyjandgltas@gmail.com

Thank you for your time,

ChaoticBlades

@Jayfournines: I in no way meant it spitefully. I adore Ted. There's a reason why I had to research Spiderman's powers, I don't actually read him. It seemed like an interesting match-up since Ted likely has similar agility by virtue of training and of the martial arts he uses one is defensive and the other focuses on redirecting the force of an opponent's blows. The BB gun has the potential to nullify webbing and if he used the flashlight part of it would be useful if Spiderman was swinging, since you would want to keep your eyes open while doing so.

Also, did you forget that one time in-comic when Ted's morals were turned off? He gave Batman, in his own words, "a good fight". And he was wounded AND distracted!

I saw the the Jaime vs Spidey match, but this couldn't find this one.

So, Blue Beetle II aka Ted Kord vs. Spiderman aka Peter Parker.

For the sake of clarifying (and so that no one can get away with claiming one side as the winner without knowing what the other can do):

1. Spiderman has what research on the subject tells me are his original powers: surface clinging, enhanced strength, enhanced reflexes, enhanced balance, spider-sense, and limited healing factor. No organic webbing.

2. Ted has a genius-level IQ (specifically in the area of technology) and is said to be smarter than Batman, an Olympic-level acrobat, skilled at hand-to-hand (specifically karate and aikido), nigh-ambidextrous, and uses a gadget called the BB Gun that can either send out a blinding flash or shoot a compressed air blast that can apparently fell a rampaging rhino.

3. Morals off.

4. Setting is a generic city (to remove home field advantage, mostly).

5. Win by KO, nullifying the threat (i.e. encasing them in webbing, etc), or death.

John has better showings of will and of speed if I am not mistaken ... that's all he needs really

Guys, guys:

No Caption Provided

See how his ring sparks? It does that automatically, he has that much willpower.

Also, those stats appear to be from the JLI era (I recognize that image of him reading the magazine as being from the first volume), otherwise known as the time during which he had brain damage. Who knows how strong he's considered to be now? Heroclix is probably more up-to-date, but... well, I don't play so I have no clue what significance anything has. Also I couldn't find a basic stat chart.

Anyways, I'm inclined to vote Guy would win by a hair, mostly because he has more passion and that can make a difference. Being a GL is his life and the Corps is his greatest love; John doesn't feel nearly as strongly, which one would think would make him a little less as one with the role. And due to the unique circumstances that have brought Guy to where he is now, he actually has a broader set of experiences from which to draw from. Add that to his oft-overlooked intellect....

This is a battle of the Brain versus the Brawn With the Hidden Brain.
