I've been reading starfire since Teen Titans a kids game (honestly her pose on the cover is a very very large reason i'm reading comics today as that was the first modern comic i bought on my 10th birthday) this starfire isn't any worse than the starfire i read all those years ago it's been months since the promo image of outlaws and people have been complaining constantly since Star has appeared in two issues and both issues were incredible at this point haters should do one of two things keeo buying in the book and complain quietky in the corner as they flip through it (cause it's obvious they don't actually read it) or stop buying and stop complaining

Exactly. I've found that Starfire has changed very little. Only the people who only know her from the TV series would be offended by this, but that was a super butchered version of her. TBH, before I fell in love with Raven's character, the comic Starfire had made her completely awesome for me and she still is, even in RHATO, which has provided a nice twist and possibly my favourite writing out of all of the DCnU. Haters need to go latch onto Marvel and their lack of female characters instead and let DC continue on its own path.

@ReVamp: True, starfire has changed A LOT, and I have to admit that i'm not exactly fond of it, but it's a great new play on the character which makes me okay with the idea. No one says this will last, but for now its here and its staying. like i said before: if you dont like it, dont read it. Agree? Disagree?

Yes, I agree with you.

Starfire has unfortunately changed a lot in the DC revamp and its something that I'm not exactly fond of either. I'm not exactly digging the whole I-don't-have-a-personality thing, but I do think that the book is superb in almost every other respect and that it deserves more good reception to counter-balance the bad reception that its been getting lately.

I'm don't know if it will last, it most probably won't, since at some point in time DC will have her acknowledge Dick and some of the events that have happened since she's reached earth.

But yes, if you don't like it, don't read it and I don't think anyone can argue with that, though I think that it is okay for people to dislike the direction that the character of starfire has taken and I also think that its absolutely okay for people to voice their disdain through rants and blogs.

But yeah, I agree with you.

That was a very well thought out post. I myself have never liked Starfire, so any changes kind of sail right over my head. However, at the same time, I do agree that it is fine for people to rant and rave about this stuff. It's not hurting anyone, and (at least for me) it's not affecting my view of the series (one of the best that the DCnU has put out, in my opinion). In other words, I can agree with your perspective and respect those who don't like what has been done. However, I am personally enjoying Red Hood and the Outlaws, and I am enjoying Scott Lobdell's writing. That is all I have to say on this matter.

A Winter Soldier ongoing? That sounds really cool. I'm quite excited for that. Now if only they could add a Doctor Strange one, and Marvel will have almost completely, undoubtedly stolen me away from DC.
