Name: Celsia
Race: Frostborn
Background: Celsia is the firstborn of the royal family of the Frostborn, a race that inhabits the frozen rings of a planet located far from the star it orbits. Her exceptional abilities brought her to the attention of the Abyssal Imperium, who kidnapped her for study. After they collected the data they sought from her, she was used as a training tool for Malicia the Destructor. For reasons known only to herself, Malicia spared the life of the princess and was granted her as a personal slave. Celsia was left onboard the Demon's Fist when Malicia disappeared and became Trinity, and as the Imperium has never been known to let a potential resource go to waste, she has been subjected to brutal mental conditioning and training, turning her into a living weapon.
Powers: Celsia possesses theoretically limitless control over ice. Realistically, the ability is limited by her creativity, concentration, and endurance, and feats that are particularly grand in scale or have to be constantly maintained will eventually tire her. Demonstrated uses of this power include gathering and freezing water molecules in the air to create ice, coating objects or beings in ice, creation of weapons, armor, and fortifications, and the creation of "ice slides" for rapid transportation. She has also created ice golems, although the animation of these constructs requires concentration and continual energy usage, as well as freezing the water vapor in an enemy's lungs, the blood in its veins, or the fluids in its brain.
Skills: during her time in Imperium captivity, Celsia has been subjected to an exhausting combat training regimen by Ephemeran instructors. She favors the Ephemeran "assassin style" of fighting; a style that relies on speed, agility, and dirty tricks over brute strength or technical expertise. Though her memories of her home have been largely buried in her subconsciousness, she retains her courtly instincts, and is not above employing diplomacy, intimidation, or seduction to achieve her goals.
Gear: Celsia's mask is critical to her, in most environments. Frostborn cannot breathe air above freezing temperatures, and her mask ensures that she does not asphyxiate on warmer planets.
