@Golden Cod:
I'd be pretty disappointed if there were only 15 characters from each side seeing as how MvC2 had 28 each, for a total of 56 fighters-  Capcom did say that we certainly wouldn't be disappointed with the number of playable characters they're putting in.  So if its 15 each to start with another 15 each thats unlockable,  I'd be pretty happy.  But 30 total fighters? Thats almost half of of the previous game-  so until it's known for sure, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

if you look at this poster for the game it looks as though superskrull is on the left of hulk, dormammu beneath him, and deadpool on the bottom next to the silhouette of chun li.  (oh and cap on the right, although it might be cut off below).   Glad to see all the new additions!

Honestly the only jumping on point for invincible is the original issue #1, this series is so good that it deserves to be read from the very beginning and if you're not reading it you're unfortunately just plain missing out.  Back when they did the free comic book day issue of invincible that summed up everything that happened up until that moment, i still felt the same way in which you can't really jump on to a series this jam packed of good story and sub plots midstream.

If you went on those two 'catch up' stories alone you might have a general idea of who invincible is and what the overarching main story's about, but you'd be missing half of what Kirkman is doing with that book.  Its about the little things that are very subtle in the background that slowly build throughout the existence of the Invincible story and the eventual pay off to long time readers.

Zack, you should pick up the first volume of Invincible Ultimate Collection, find a nice shady spot, sit down and enjoy the read!  Now there's a jumping on point.

First off I can't believe someone actually WANTS howie long in a movie, let alone leading the avengers in the future (seriously, wtf??) - Second, marvel needs to get someone who has the acting chops to step up to Robert Downey Jr and actually command the screen AWAY from him - which none of their choices seem to be able to do.

What marvel needs to realize is that when starting a new franchise going with a relative unknown is fine, or one of the midgrade actors they're sifting through (although chris evans is great, he will always be johnny storm in my mind, since he single handily made those movies what they were - and he should be the only actor brought back for the FF reboot), but since they already started the 'avengers' franchise with ironman (and possibly the inc. hulk) you need a big star to stand along side the big stars you already have.

A couple of people here have already said it, but honestly the only choice for cap that makes since to stand next to downey jr and possibly ed norton (if he quits being a baby about it) is matt frickin' damon.  Come on, really-  jason bourne is already steve rodgers.  The bourne trilogy has shown he has the action skills for this type of movie - and pretty much every movie the guys been in shows his range, which someone like steve rodgers will need.  He'll need to go from doubting himself, to slowly gaining confidence, to later leading the the most powerful group of super heroes the marvel universe has ever seen.  Please marvel-  get your act together!

@goldenkey: Actually, that is bucky cap-  the stripes are just modified a little so the angel is cut as high-  look at the bottom right of the image.  Also he has back sleeves, black pouches, shiny blue - yep thats bucky barnes alright.

I love the team (although I'm not a huge spider-woman fan, and think ms marvel would fit better)-  and john romita, is well john romita jr-  I would never say his work is "ugly as sin" as some other users say-  his work is certainly solid, just not one of the best marvel has to offer.  I love his take on the spidey books, and think his style on Kick Ass is works well -  He just can't draw big characters (ie look at world war hulk-  that serious would have been much better if a good hulk artist was on it like ed mcguinness or dale keown), or womens faces (i really don't like the cheekbone look he goes for). But he is FAR FAR from being a bad artist.  I think he would be awesome on an iron fist run.
