I'd go with catwoman myself- I always loved the dynamic between the two them.
Although I need to say that I'm surprised Wonder Woman didn't make the list at all, there have been plenty of moments in shared story arcs where it seemed like something would happen between those two- Although Diana would absolutely wreck Bats in bed (which being the masochist he is, he'd probably enjoy it).
I am not liking what I'm seeing here. I think Andrew Garfield looks great and he'll pull off the high school skinny peter just fine, but that costume is... well... just bad.
I'm usually one that needs to see these things in full, but from what I can tell so far this rendition of the costume is it's just too grungy and not very 'friendly neighborhood.' I'm very afraid to see what the do with the rest of the suit, especially the mask.
Overall, this looks like it belongs more in the failed "turn off the dark," then the next big screen outing.
I hope they either change it back, or actually develop a new iconic costume for her, one that maybe plays up her warrior/amazon characteristics. I just think her 'current' costume looks so ordinary and plain that (with a few minor exceptions) I can imagine seeing on a woman wearing it passing by on the street in daily life (which would work for some characters but not one of DC's big three).
I actually concur with Mr. Norris's list pretty solidly-
Mask of the phantasm will always have that special place in my heart and after watching it again recently it still holds up extremely well.
New Frontier is absolutely amazing, that series was calling for a movie based on it and boy did DC animation deliver.
Batman Beyond was one of my favorite 'else-worlds batman stories' (if you could call it that) and even with the liberties taken with the characters, Return of the Joker was full of surprises twists and turns (poor tim drake!).
Under the Red Hood was fantastic, that movie literally stayed on my mind for weeks after watching it (even though I wasn't really behind the attitude of the Joker in this one, the rest of it made up for it).
And Wonder Woman is the best hands-down single character DC animated film yet, very underrated by people who haven't seen it and what a ride.
@WolfMonkey: I agree with it being down to those three- and X-Force did a great job finishing up the characterization of Laura that started in New X-Men (before that, I absolutely hated her). Though I can't count out Kon or Ben Reilly- I grew up with those two being both my Superboy and Spider-Man respectively and since they are two of my favorite characters its a tough choice. All three of them are great though.
@brc2000: I couldn't agree more- my favorite moments in recent bat-history were when Batman and Tim-Robin were out on a case and Nightwing would swing in for the assist.
Honestly i feel Nightwing is the best bat-creation since, well, the joker or perhaps even the batman himself.
Dr Strange, Nova (Prime) and Iron Fist would be my top three picks needed for this game- oh and you can bring back Juggernaut too, that'd be great thanks!
