@spareheadone: Yes. Still Deist. I don't wanna just pick a religion. I want to pick a religion or philosophy that actually moves my spirit. That's why I converse with all of you. Maybe one of you will trigger something.
@ccraft: Heterosexuals cheapened marriage. And people who wanna marry cars, robots are just furthering the trend.
It's almost impossible for gays to do more damage to marriage than heterosexuals have.
Transgender is not a mental illness.
I agree. working on your marriage involves sacrifice and being unselfish. Much easier to divorce.
If you can't tell, I can't stand what marriage has become. It shouldn't even be called marriage anymore. And I believe that CHRISTIANS are the blame. They have gotten away from their values. Heterosexual Christians are the ones getting divorced(50% divorced rate) and committing adultery and producing single parent homes. The "culture" and social media is dominated by Christians. So when I hear Christians blaming gays or atheist for declining morals, Matthew 7:5 comes to mind.
You're a deist, that's interesting. I grew up a "Christian" but having your parents faith isn't what it means to be Christian. My faith was pretty weak growing up. Seeing people like Richard Dawkins and Hitchens mock religion making a pretty easy to switch to Atheism. This was in my teenage years of course. When I got older, met new people I started to question a lot of things. Why didn't this relationship work, or why didn't this job work out for me. Working with that special needs client I was able to meet the nicest old lady and experiencing her strong faith. At the time I didn't really make much of it, but reflecting on my life and the people that have come and gone, I truly come to admire God's will. It moved me from NC all the way to GA. But I guess what really got me back into Christianity was reading the bible and finding the right pastor to teach me God's word and what he wants for us. It's an absolute truth I can find peace in in a time where our nation is divided on every important issue. This country doesn't seem to be doing well by moving away from the Christian values that made this country great.
Yes heterosexuals have made a mockery of marriage by not following God's will. Society has made it easier to tear apart family for selfish reasons for a long time now, but you'd be ignoring the fact that homosexuals changing the institution of marriage to fit their needs cheapens the real thing, not only that it will bring more depravity into such an institution.
Transgender, the mental desire to be born a different sex or feel like you should have a penis when you don't is absolutely a mental illness. The only reason APA changed it from a mental illness because of social influence, not of any new scientific data. If you are born a man and you have the desire to be a woman and want to remove your genitals to do so, that is something wrong. Next you'll be telling me Body integrity identity disorder isn't a mental illness. Heck maybe one day it won't be considered a mental illness, just found out people call themselves Transabled.

Well that's good we agree. I just wished we agreed on how marriage should remain one man and one woman. You think our culture and social media is dominated by Christians? Marriage used to be a covenant between your partner and God, but what its become doesn't resemble what marriage was intended for.
That's not true. And I meant to say media, such as Hollywood and news media. Which more often than not is dominated by atheism and homosexuals. I don't know if you keep up with politics or not, but Christian are under attack 24/7. It's death by 1000 cuts, and they have been chipping away at the Christian values for a long time.
