I really like what mark waid has done to modernize archie so this was not for me. I am surprised however at how many people seem excited about what is essentially a rape storyline

@donmeca2020: during green lantern rebirth the coast city streets and buildings were restored. The series that followed had people return to inhabit it. It was back to full glory for the sinestro war, blackest night, war of the green lanterns... etc. Not sure of any changes since new52 I dropped the book at that point.
