Holding A Helmet

I keep seeing this shot on covers, but I haven't found the source yet. I don't know if it's a painting, movie poster, earlier cover I found yet, or what.

The earliest cover I have found so far (thanks to help from FB group Comic Swipes) is The X-Men vs. The Avengers #4. Closer to the shot on the Power Rangers covers (and most of the others) is the Iron Man 3 movie poster (May 3, 2013).

There's also this interior image from Iron Man #169 (April, 1983):
