Okay, fan-fic folk! Here's everything you need to know about the Character Creation Contests on the FF Forum!

Basic Rules of the CCC:

Contest Thread:

  • All are welcome to participate (yes, even you).
  • Write at least one original character (OC) of the type asked for in the contest's original post (OP).
  • Name the OC(s).
  • Your story does not have to be all original. If you want your OC in a fan-fic setting, feel free unless the OP's rules prohibit it.
  • Word limit decided by OP (we go with "no word limit" most contests).
  • Deadline decided by OP (usually 2 weeks).
  • Additional rules/ special requirements decided by OP.

Voting Thread:

  • Voting thread goes up after the deadline.
  • Voting time decided by OP (usually 2 weeks).
  • If you wrote, you should vote (it's just sporting).
  • You cannot vote for yourself (also sporting).
  • Winner picks the next contest.
