Looking at how they it handles on the PSP I have to say that it's not very appealing to read a comic in this format. Just like Ryan said there are other devices like the iPad or the iPhone which will probably be more attractive.

When it comes down to it, it really depends on the importance that you have towards your books. Some people prefer getting softcovers because of their cheap appeal, however, end up waiting months to get the collected volume. Softcovers also break faster if not taken care of.

Hardcovers on the other hand, are stronger, last longer and their collections come out quicker. depending where you buy hardcovers, some, end up being about the same price as a softcover.

On personal preference, I see the "$5 more dollars" as a safety fee to books lasting longer. Like many of you, I started with softcovers because of their price. As their binding began to fall apart, I changed to harcovers. The softcovers owned are in bags with backboards to prevent them from enduring any more damage. Hardcovers are in bags and backboards as well and deluxe/large editions have mylar on the dust covers.

Good topic,

My impression of a super hero has always been one of a person doing something that helps the community. I don't think you need a super power to be one, you just have to go out there and help out, make a difference. Whether it's picking up trash that people neglected to throw away, or volunteering to help out the elderly or the needy, Even making someone smile that you don't know. These are the things that all of us have inside of us to make that "super hero" difference. We are all heroes, we just have to nourish that will to get things done.

For one hour a week, I go to areas of there Hudson river that are polluted and pick up the trash. I know it isn't much, but it helps.

That's my super hero power, no one has asked me to do it, but I do because it is fulfilling. and no I can't fly.
