I have been looking at digital comics for a while due to all the space that print ones are taking up in my house. Does anybody know anything about Marvel's digital comics and if they work on the iPad?

Who would you say the best ALL-AGES appropriate comic book characters are? I am asking for 2 reasons. 1. I am just curious, with so many books with T or higher ratings how many are out there that could be suitable for younger readers. I don't count the Marvel Age Avengers, FF, etc. either. I mean original characters. And 2. I teach elementary school and would like to find stuff suitable for my students to read.

I think the easiest one to come up with is Sonic, but there has to be more...

So I started reading comics when I was about 8 and started off with Sonic when it first came out. I read through about issue 20ish and haven't touched one since. I teach 3rd grade and one or two of my students I noticed are reading Sonic and it got me curious. I know that they are in like the 200s now so does anyone know where a good jumping on point would be? Or even just a worth while story to check out?

So I just picked up Walking Dead Book 1 and Fables Book 1 and I am hooked. I have always been a Marvel guy and love my old school Marvel stories and trades, but with me being on winter break I am trying to get caught up on some reading and branch out away from what I have always read. Any other suggestions?
