Great interview Tony, and thanks, because of this I'm looking forward to picking up issues 1 and 2 along with my weekly stack. Showing off Joe Eisma's interiors and Phil Noto's cover for issue 5 helped, as well. :)
Hey Comic Vine crew, I've got a question for James. In Earth 2 #3, the way "the Green" and "the Grey" are mentioned, and seeing how the Green Lantern gets his powers from the Earth in this series and how Grundy is basically the rot, will any of this have anything to do with Swamp Thing or Animal Man in the future?
Anyway, love the series, and as I was reading the green energy's dialogue, I just couldn't get James Earl Jones' voice out of my head. Think about that when it's time for the movie. Keep up the good work.
I don't know what it is, but I don't think I happen to ever agree that the covers picked on here are ever really each week's best. The All-Star Western cover, however, is awesome though.
"Oh no, Thor has purchased the last of the ingredients that Peter Parker needs to make his web fluid, and Parker is dangerously low! But, alas, it isn't really Thor, but his evil half-cousin twice removed who is a shape-shifter, and has taken the form of the God of Thunder. Spider-Man doesn't know, and has declared, 'This is War!'"
I caught that shot of Deathstroke's mask and it intrigued me a bit. Anyway, thanks for the news, it's looking great. All that hard work is paying off, Sara!
I have a question for James. First off, Earth 2 #2 was great. Nicolas Scott is putting out some of the best pages I've ever seen her do. Now, my question, the first part of issue 1, does that take place 5 years before the end of issue 1? I was confused for a bit because I don't think it was stated and in issue 2 Jay is talkin to Mercury while on page 3 it says it's the 5th anniversary of Batman and Robin's death. Anyway, can't wait for the next issue, and the next issue of The Shade. Fraser Irving's work is always amazing. Keep up the great work, sir.
