@The Mjolnir Wielder: I'm talking about King Hyperion. Or are you being sarcastic? I don't know much about him other than what I read on his comicvine page, which makes him sound bad@ss.
I think people are underestimating Blue Marvel. I mean he took out King Superion, who has killed hundreds of Hulks, Thors, Sentries, etc. Plus he's supposed to be as strong as Hulk and Thor according to Namor. He's a brilliant scientist who specializes in understanding energy. And he's got ant-matter shields and and anti-matter blasts, which--correct me if I'm wrong--a Green Power Ring has trouble with, as evidenced by how they are affected on Qward and in the Anti-Matter universe.
@Sexy Merc: I haven't read his Journey with GA around America yet, but the only time I see Hal act in a way that interests me is when he's with Ollie. I'll probably give the Journey story a read once I'm on vacation again.
@GreenLantern555: Yeah, this forum made me realize that some characters have personalities, but a lot of readers like me don't think they do because when we look for personalities in comics, we look for things other than courage, since that's a staple personality trait. I guess I confused personality with uniqueness. I don't know Hal outside of the Johns era, so that may be why I'm not a huge fan of his.
And I guess the origin story idea makes the most sense. That would explain the return of Barry Allen after nearly 30 years of death.
