He did have enhanced strength around the Secret Empire time. That is the Cap used in Avengers forever and he has a couple strength feats to display that he was super human for a little while.

Google or this site. I wanted to learn about the Avengers so i googled 'Best Avengers stories' and found different lists and went from there

Valiant titles. I pull and love X-O but am currently satisfied with all my other books so I'm not going to drop one to pick up another Valiant at the moment.

Hell Boy. I really enjoy the movies and would like to get more familiar with his mythos.

X-O Manowar is on sale ($.99) that seems like an sci-fi/adventure type book. I'm getting the first two issues tonight.

I took advantage of the X-O sale and it has already become on of my favorite ongoing titles after reading 1-11 so I picked up 12 and 13 at full cost on Wednesday.

I mostly buy digital when they come out. For older series, I wait for Comixology sales and try to pick them up for $0.99.

I do buy print for single issues if the panel layout is not conducive for digital reading like Swamp Thing.

If I plan on buying a long run, I will look into the TPBs so to make it cheaper. I have the Brubaker Cap omnibuses(omnibi?), Busiek's entire Avengers run, and Moore's complete Swamp Thing run.

I like the mobility of having just about my entire collection with me wherever I go, not having to store a lot of books, and I don't think many (if any) of these single issues will ever rise in value so digital is the way for me.

Ha. I wonder if Edgar Rice Burroughs ever looked at his two characters and thought, 'Let's put Tarzan on Mars!'

X-O Manowar from Valiant. It is a great story. It's also on sale for $0.99 an issue on Comixology. The main character reads like an amalgam of Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. He has the personality of Thor, he is a man out of time like Cap, and he has an advanced suit of armor like Iron Man. Big fan so far.

From my pull list (14 Marvel, 3 DC, 2 Image, 1 Valiant), these are my favorite per company:

Marvel: Winter Soldier, Secret Avengers, or Thor
DC: Swamp Thing
Image: Fatale
Valiant: X-O Manowar

Overall, my favorite would either be X-O or Winter Soldier. There are a lot of good comics out there today.

I took advantage of Comixology's sale for X-O Manowar this week to branch out and the story is fantastic. I hope similar sales arise for Harbinger and Bloodshot.

I feel like I see people post on here all the time about how much they wanna see Monica in stuff but shes not in anything >.< You'd think Marvel would get the message. The same goes for Herc to.

Is it a lot of different people posting that they want to see Monica or is it the same 5-10 people just posting a lot? Internet forums only make up a fraction of the reading population.
