I'm surprised that over the long history of DC Comics there still doesn't seem to be a single instance in which the Joker uses a Lantern ring, which I think could make for a great story considering the ways in which a maniac like Joker could use such a dangerous weapon. I know there are already a number of topics asking what kind of ring the Joker would use should he ever get his hands on one. Fans, including myself, would go nuts over a (well-written) story with Joker having a power ring in his possession and using it to wreak havoc, just imagine the damage he could do with that twisted imagination of his. The problem, according to some, seems to be that there is no type of power ring that quite fits the Joker's personality and/or motives, and thus he would never be allowed to use one. However, considering the capricious nature of comics, surely there must be some way to make this a plausible scenario, even if that means somehow tricking or coercing the ring into obedience? So, under what circumstances could the Joker get his hands on a Lantern ring, fair play or not? Someone suggested that the Joker might invent a new type of "chaos ring", possibly by combining several different types of already existing rings, could that be one way?

A big hobby of mine, which will probably never become a reality but is still enjoyable, is to imagine how the perfect Marvel Cinematic Universe would be like. I won't go into much detail, but it would encompass every aspect of the Marvel universe and include pretty much every character that fans would want to see. I've calculated that for this to work out, it would require almost a hundred films in total and probably somewhere between 20-25 years from the release of the first movie to the last one, i.e. four or five films a year on average (as that amount of films would require many years to make but would still have to be produced within a relatively short timespan to prevent the actors outgrowing their characters). I am however not very familiar with the technical details behind filmmaking and what factors come into play, so I'd like you to help me find out if this little vision of mine is even theoretically possible in the first place.

Question 1: Is it a theoretical possibility that different film studios band together and share the rights to their characters between each other to make one common cinematic universe? It is undoubtedly what fans want, but would the studios be able to profit from it or would it be financial suicide? Why?

Question 2: Would it be theoretically possible to jam almost 100 Marvel movies within a time frame of 20-25 years into cinemas? Would fans grow tired long before that? Or would it be a better solution to make at least some of the franchises into series like those on Netflix to shorten the time frame and give the cinemas a chance to breathe?

I just read the following on Marvel's wiki pages: "After Dr. Strange stepped down as the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, Doom was amongst the candidates considered suitable to replace him." That got me quite interested in a potential future storyline with Doom as the new Sorcerer Supreme, as he is one of Earth's most cunning magicians already as well as a genious in a large variety of other fields. I looked it up, and I read that there already is a "What if...?" story where Doom actually did become the new Sorcerer Supreme, but I couldn't find any further details of that story, so my speculations continue. What I'm further wondering is: would Doom want this title at all? Doom's ultimate goal, as far as I've understood, is to gain as much power as he can, but he also wants to be able to use that power in any way he wants, without restrictions. Whoever holds the title of Sorcerer Supreme is one of the most powerful individuals in the universe, which certainly should attract Doom's attention, but for obvious reasons, the title also comes with a great deal of responsibilities, which I imagine Doom would have little interest in.

Who appoints the Sorcerer Supreme anyway and what are the exact requirements? I guess having a pure heart and a genuinely good and un-selfish will would be a requirement, and if so, I guess Doom wouldn't be eligible (because what fun is power if you have to play by the rules?), but perhaps he could find a way to trick whoever appoints the title that he is the right man for the job, blackmail said appointer into changing the conditions regarding who can become Sorcerer Supreme, or simply usurp the title somehow and use it for his own purposes (after all, he already managed to steal the Power Cosmic from the Silver Surfer and many other types of powers). I only know that Doctor Strange lost his title because he failed his duties, but I don't know if he passed it on willingly or if it was taken from him.

Either way, Marvel has a tendency of making any scenario possible (and of course, writers can make up any excuse to make anything happen if it makes a good story), but the more it makes sense, the better. Can the position of Sorcerer Supreme be used for evil purposes, or will it automatically go to someone else if the current holder of the title abuses it? Would Doom simply have to abandon his evil ways and accept the responsibilities that comes with the title if he would stand any chance of being appointed Sorcerer Supreme (which in that case I wouldn't see much of a point in either for Doom or for a story worth reading)? Would it take extreme measures such as the involvement of one or several Infinity Gems for Doom to gain the title of Doctor Supreme and be able to use if for his own malevolent purposes, or could he find another way?

In short, my two questions are:

1) Is there any plausible scenario where Doctor Doom could become the new Sorcerer Supreme?

2) Would Doom be able to use the position of Sorcerer Supreme to achieve his evil goals?

Don't know too much about the Skrulls but what I've understood is that their powers of disguise is so sophisticated that they cannot be exposed even by Spiderman's spider-sense or Doctor Strange's spells. I've also understood that they are able to replicate super-powers to such a degree that a Skrull impersonating Black Bolt was able to give an enraged Hulk quite a nosebleed in World War Hulk and blow quite a hefty chunk of the moon into space before being defeated. Considering how potent their powers of copying the powers and attributes of others are, I wonder if a Skrull impersonating Thor would be able to lift Mjolnir? I think I've read somewhere that the Skrulls had created a hi-tech replica of Mjolnir in the past, but would they need one if they were able to get their hands on the real Mjolnir? In fact, while we're at it, I might as well ask if the Super-Adaptoid would be able to do the same thing.

Just watched both Thor and Hulk vs again, and the scenes from Hulk vs where they fight in the mountains and the magnificent scene in the live action film introducing Asgard beginning from below the Asgardian "ocean" made me wonder: is Asgard a realm where the only non-Asgardian beings are the kinds of animals that end up on the Asgardian feast table, like boars or whatever they eat, or are there birds, insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles and other animals similar to the wildlife of Midgard? I recall Odin having both a pair of ravens called Hugin and Munin and a pair of tame wolves called Freki and Geri, but these pets all seemed to be magical so they might be created for the purpose of serving Odin and not taken from the Asgardian fauna? The scene in Thor where Asgard is introduced from below the water had me imagine an enormous whale-like creature swimming through a shimmering shoal of fish and when the camera view goes up I imagined great flocks of birds soaring along the cliffs of Asgard and above the city. It looked glorious in my mind, so like I already said, I'm wondering if there are animals in Asgard, and if so, what kinds?

I haven't read DC as much as I've read Marvel, as I've only read Batman, Superman and some Flash with only wiki and forums to complement further info, while I've essentially read all of Marvel, so I'm not as educated about the world of DC as I am about the Marvel universe. While Marvel continually make references to real life history and pop phenomena and locate their major events and battles in famous cities like New York City, I've never even heard NYC mentioned in DC at all - the only reference I've seen whatsoever was a melting Statue of Liberty on the cover of an issue. Historically I've never heard 9/11 mentioned in DC among other major events that have been referenced to a lot of times in Marvel. As for pop references, the amount tends to vary - sometimes only celebrities and phenomena from DC's own world are mentioned, while on the other hand I recall references to Sherlock Holmes and a comic with Two-Face where he claims to sometimes listening to Black Sabbath. This leads me to wonder, does NYC exist in the DC universe at all, or does Metropolis and Gotham City serve as DC counterparts? If there is a NYC in the DC universe, how important is it there compared to Gotham and Metropolis? Does it depend on the writer? Would it be completely absurd if Batman or Superman fought crime on Manhattan? And about pop references and history, does DC have less in common with our world than Marvel has, or are they about similar?

This is something I've been wondering as Peter Parker is the superhero I can relate to the most (struggling with financial/social problems, etc). I don't know many subscriber's names but I've seen Peter Parker drawn in very different ways over the years - sometimes he looks like a dork, sometimes he might as well be a supermodel and sometimes he looks quite ordinary. Most of his friends agree that he's a hopeless nerd, but more beautiful women than you can count on your fingers have had crushes on him, most of them falling for Peter Parker alone not knowing about his superhero alter ego. But have these women fallen for his appearance or his personality? Sure, he was bullied in school for being a nerd and an outsider, but that doesn't neccessarily make you unattractive, I know of several kids who were bullied in school who appearance-wise might as well have been models, which perhaps doesn't quite fit in with the common picture of a bullying victim. Though I guess Peter drew more female eyes to him after gaining a few pounds of spider-muscle to his physique. But how physically attractive is Peter Parker supposed to be? I don't imagine he'd be outright ugly, but would you look at him twice?

Kryptonians and humans are pretty much indistinguishable from each other (as far as appearance goes anyways), and why is that? Has it ever been explained by DC? I'm the kind of douchebag who demands explanations for everything and won't settle with the answer "because it's comics" so I want to know. Could it be that humans and Kryptonians descend from a common ancestor? If I recall correctly, Kryptonians are a far older species than humans, which would in that case mean that humans descend from Kryptonians and not the other way around (take that, creationists?). Did some Kryptonian explorers visit Earth and ejaculated into the primordial ooze? Or would it be more plausible if they retconned Kryptonians so that they don't look that much like humans and Kal-El went through a similar "humanisation" that Klaatu went through in the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still to be able to blend in with the human civilisation?

The saga of the Hulk seems to be a never-ending one, as Banner never seems to be able to get rid of the Hulk and the Hulk simply doesn't seem to be able to ever die. So, if there was a consistent film series about the Hulk and they had to conclude Banner's and the Hulk's story in one last movie, what kind of conclusion would you like to see? Would you have Banner finally find a cure for his condition, or would he make piece with the Hulk? Would the Hulk find a place where he could finally be left alone for the rest of his days? And if so, would Banner and Hulk get separated and live the rest of their lives as they saw fit, with Banner finally settling down with Betty and make piece with General Ross? Would the Hulk, as we don't really know what sort of being he is, ascend to some kind of entity, like a godlike personification of anger and/or strength? Or would you have it all end tragically with the Hulk and/or Banner dying, or, as he seems unable to die, be doomed to live on forever with no purpose to his existence? What are your thoughts?

Question is in the title, what would happen if Juggernaut (not de-powered) was running at full speed towards Mjolnir lying on the ground and grabbed it while running? My theory is that he would be as unable as anyone to lift it and his unstoppable enchantment would be overpowered, or Mjolnir would break in two and be rendered useless anyway. What are your thoughts?
