@outside_85: There seems to be some confusion on this subject. In an interview on Newsarama, he stated that the weeklies count toward the 52, not in excess of it. We'll see the truth by what gets launched or canceled in upcoming months
@wessaari: Not a bad idea but DC learned a lesson with DC Universe Presents. You gotta start off with the heavy hitters before going on to the lower tiers and new characters.
Secret Origin is for NEW readers not whiny fanboys. Zero Year was almost 2 years ago. People nowadays have short attention spans. They need jumping on points all the time. These stories are NOT gonna be retcons.
@transformers1024: Batman gets more books because Batman sells. You are well within your right not to buy it.
2- They are not retelling Death of Superman. In the new52 his death is not assured. So far no pre-new52 stories have been rehashed.
3. Secret Origins has a 12 page story for Batman meant for new readers to catch up. It'll probably a quick summary showing what's still in continuity. And Batman SELLS.
@tomchu: DC has not lost Morrison or Winick. They stepped away to do more creator owned stuff. Morrison still has Multiversity and Wonder Woman Earth One. Rucka will deal with Vertigo if its something he likes (AV Anthology). The other ones are correct. Gail will walk away from books but not DC in general.
So this is the new female Green Lantern, Jessica Cruz, that Johns teased at the end of Green Lantern #20 then. An overdose of human lanterns needless to say but with Kyle a White Lantern, Guy a Red one and Hal and John in space, Simon and Jessica will be the new Earth GLs. I wonder if the teaser RB Silva released of Nightwing, Red Tornado and others may come into play as a resistance team? But this looks horribly like Final Crisis and I hated that event.
That team also had Hawkman on it. Supposedly all of the Leagues die and Hawkman is a JLA member. But maybe you're right. That RB Silva team had some interesting members on it.
