Exodus shows up at X-Men H.Q. (wherever it is this week), and pleads with the team to help him save the remaining acolytes that were trapped in Sinister's cloning fields. Rogue decides to take a team of people in to rescue the acolytes, and purge Nathaniel Essex's research from the planet before it falls into the wrong hands.
Team Leader. Defies Cyclops to destroy one of the deadliest threats the X-Men have ever faced.
Second in command. He is tagging along to learn what he can about his past and make sure Rogue doesn't go too far.
Rogue asks him along because he's the only person she can trust these days. He agrees because he continues to pursue Rogue romantically, and because he wants to see what he might learn from Essex's plans.
Another Summers who wants answers for why Mr. Sinister had such an interest in her family. She doesn't trust Magneto or Exodus and is a little wary of the mission to begin with.
Resident computer expert and all around good girl. She's the conscience of the team. Rogue asked her along to keep her loose cannons in check. She is also reporting to Cyclops from the field.
His intentions seem true. Ever since M-Day he has been trying to reform the Acolytes, but he seems unable to. He hopes that in appealing to the X-Men he might seek redemption.
Found in Mr. Sinister's cloning fields. He claims he is there for research, but what are this man's real motives?
