Watchmen is my single favorite comic story. It's cliche to say this, I know, but that book and Dark Knight Returns really mean a lot to me. 
 
As far as 2000AD, I am aware of its legendary status abroad. I didn't like the Stallone movie, but was really pleased when I heard they were doing a remake. (Making it in Europe, I think, which is good.)

lol. Now I feel guilty. I don't wanna make someone work if they don't have to. Some poor asthmatic kid, diving in to ten foot high stacks of dusty, poly-bagged comics--all for the amusement of strangers. It's criminal.

Then there's the Power Pack child molestation issue. Funny stuff.

New York area. Late 70's/early 80's. They even had a tv ad, as I recall. He talked about bicycle safety; a serious issue back then. lol.

I seem to remember something called "SprocketMan" from the seventies.

Adam West sounds ... odd.

I don't think they need to reboot Cap or the Red Skull. ( Maybe some minor alterations, etc.) Cap was frozen. He could have come from 1776, as far as I'm concerned. I don't recall if The Red Skull was frozen, but he is a Nazi. That's the whole point of the character: Axis vs. Allied.
