@impurestcheese: I totally understand, and I take my audiences critique into account. However, Like I said Butterguy is young and soon will grow. During Flashpoint he doesn't even become Butterguy to begin with. The more you get used to a character though, the more you get used to name. Think about the audience at first when they heard the name "Batman" or "Green Lantern" it's all about perspective.

@impurestcheese I have thought about how the name sounds. Butterguy is more of a relief character. I have pictured him battling with the Justice League of America for most of The New 52, and I think he is more of a jokester kind of character, he's there, he's powerful, but he still has a lot of learning to do when it comes to his powers. Eventually, he does die in my mind, only to be re-imagined as a new serious superhero, Monarch.

And I know, Monarch is a name already for a DC Superhero, however, I just feel like he fits it better.

We have to remember that there is a difference between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel universes, so it makes sense that we will have a lighter Batman, but I still expect there to be the hidden rage and depression of his parents death under his vigilante expression. We don't want a comical Batman.
