I honestly just don't see how people can say going out and hunting for your own food is bad, yet eating meat requires the killing of an innocent animal. It's not like the only meat we eat in this country is from evil animals that were killed while trying to massacre a family.

'Don't kill those poor innocent animals, eat the evil ones the factories get ahold of'

Wtf. Seriously.

So.. you're against going out and hunting for your own food, but you're okay with factories that slaughter animals, feed them steroids, abuse them, etc?

Way to put words into his mouth.

Eating any kind of meat that comes from somewhere that does these things to animals (which is the majority) means you support it. You are buying their product.

Being against the way they treat their animals and still eating the meat is like saying you are against child labor but still buy the Nikes that child makes.

@marvel_boy2241: Thank you..

Forgive me for 'putting words in your mouth'. I reckon I sort of jumped the gun.. But you are aware of the conditions the animals meat that are sold in stores go through?

Is hunting for your own food worst than animals being led into warehouses and slaughtered one by one? I rather eat meat that I go out and kill myself, than go to the grocery store and eat processed meat of an animal that was injected steroids, herded into a warehouse, live in sh*t conditions, abused, and slaughtered one by one.

Seriously whats the difference? If you eat meat, it's going to be from a killed innocent animal. Regardless of how you get it.

@i_like_swords: So you think people who hunt are hypocrites?

If they don't need to, yes. Unless they wouldn't complain if they were then hunted themselves.

Yes.

It's fine by me as long as your going to eat it. Hunting for sport is a different story.

Pretty much my thoughts on it.

What do you think about hunting deer, rabbits, raccoons, bears, turkeys, etc.? Not endangered animals.
