I just find their stories better nowadays (yes, I used to be more into Marvel titles before), the DC Universe, characters etc. but there are a couple of marvel titles that I dig like Hawkeye (matt fraction) and the Superior Spiderman so that doesn't make me a DC purist :)
I don't care what these real fans think, they can bash new 52 all they want it does not affect me anyway as a reader/collector, at the end of the day I get to decide what's good to pick and what's not to pick, so far I'm liking new 52 a lot (well not all titles of course).
I couldn't agree more, it serves two good purpose:
1. It will make the readers interested because it introduces the B or C list villains seldom used which will be something new, hence New 52.
2. It will challenge our good ol' writers on telling an epic story using these obscure villains.
In addition, to make it also interesting why not let the villains from other titles to jump over, hawkman villains like the gentleman ghost, blockbuster or lion-mane (now a batwing villain).
Supergirl, her costume is like wearing a red diaper, bring the miniskirt back.
(not really from the pre-new 52 era) Luke Fox-Batwing, I was really shocked of the outcome after Batwing #19 - The End of the Beginning but I gave it a shot...David Zavimbe was way way better, the characters history, everything. Now the story is taking place in gotham again.....I just had to drop it, cant they get enough of stories based in gotham, we have a sh^tload of gotham-feel titles already. I wish (at least) they bring back the stories in africa, there's too many to tell: blood diamonds, child soldiers, tribal warlords, political turmoil in egypt, african myth etc.
