Wow, I find it incredible that people who don't know a single thing about comic books, even some basic stuff, go to a comic convention. Comic-Con is fine, but this seems much smaller and intimate. Good feature regardless, duders.
JESUS CHRIST TONY. You are one of the best editors for a site I have seen. You put up more original content than most websites I go to! This is why Iove Comicvine.
And yeah, I agree that the Bats could have ended up like any of these villains.
A great "what if?" story could be if Joker and Batman switched roles! That's a story I would kill for, Joker is the hero of justice while Batman is the sadistic crazy man.
I always like when evil wins. Maybe it's all the movies, comics and video games I play that makes me crave for the baddies to win sometimes when the hero wins 98% of the time. Whenever I play an RPG (Fallout, Mass Effect, etc.) I play evil my first time. It breaks the formula and gives a story usually untold.
I'm glad comic books don't let villains win all the time, because the few times it happens, it's so awesome we couldn't possibly have that happen all the time.
(Fun fact, my favorite character is Norman Osborn, so you couldn't believe how happy I was about Dark Reign. DR has been my favorite event ever since. Evil reigns supreme!)
