Neither can do anything to the other.  When Galactus with the silver surfer, doctor strange, were blown to bits and killed by the 4 or 5 cosmic cubes byt thanos i believe, Galactus brought them back to life , by just by passing Death, and Death made the statement that it would take a great deal of effort to try and claim Galactus. So it's doubtful she is simply more powerful than him.  Secondly there is the instance with the in-betweener where he summons death to kill Galactus, as she did with the Elders of the Universe. But she couldn't even though he had complete command over her.
IIRC, They never actually died. If you re-read it, Galactus actually saved them.  They didn't die, then got brought back by Galactus, as you seem to think.  That was due to Galactus's power, to be able to bring them back from the brink of destruction, not death, if I remember correctly.  Again, I see Galactus as under abstracts like Death or Eternity, yes he has a role, but it is not on the same level as them, power and otherwise.  Not sure why people seem to believe that Death cannot affect Galactus??
They actually did die, Death was standing there as Dr. Strange was passing her when she made that comment. Then they were back on Galactus's ship and the surfer made the comment that they were actual dead and Galactus brought them back.  The point was to point out that just because death is death does not mean she is greater, in Chaos War Death was killed. Galactus in this timeline has not been Killed yet, but he can die. Just as  any other immortal can.   You can see Galactus however you choose to see him, Galactus is not mortal, and his role in the universe is just as unique as Death's.  Both are capable of dying, but Death can't just simply take him.
Thanx for the info, and you make some interesting points.

Actually if he does use the Nullifier he can kill Death, albeit with disastrous consequences. Not sure they can do anything to each other outside that. She tried to keep him from reforming once, but he was willing himself back together, along with everyone on-board the ship, without much effort. Although Strange somehow helped him despite he was just battling Death, no idea what he accomplished outside preventing himself from staying dead.
Was this actually in an Infinity War issue or a tie in?? Been a while since I've read it, will have to pull it out again.

I believe Atom already has 1 or two wins over Jordan.  I'll go with Adam.

@IZZR: what is the point of depowering Tyrant?  He's suppose to have power on par with Galactus.
There is version of him being depowered that was still taking out teams of heralds...
Current SS is way more powerful than he was back then, not to mentin the new Captain Atom is off the charts too
New Captain Atom?? Current SS is now considered Tyrant level??
Relax yourself and refrain yourself from putting words in people's mouth's, i said SS has had a major upgrade since then and he wont be as easily defeated, and also Captain Atom has had a huge upgrade too so this time its much more interesting
LoL I was not intending to put words in peoples  mouths, just curious at your meaning, and apologies if you thought I was confrontational, as that was also not my purpose, but thanks for bringing it to my attention, and consider my self restrained from my enthusiasm lol  What huge upgrade are you refereeing to regarding Captain Atom that he's had weeks before the DCU gets hauled over in September? Curious.  And SS, yeah, he's been upgraded, more than once since Annihilation, but still wouldn't put him over Thanos, imo.

I'm confused to this and other similar battles posted?? It was actually shown in comic, Tyrant, while depowered, absolutely owned SS, BRB, Gladiator, Morg, Terrax, Jack of Hearts and was taking on Thanos with one of his energy orbs,  and who ever else i'm missing, and you've basically substitued a few heralds, BRB, Gladiator, and Thanos for Captain Atom to aid Silver Surfer??? Makes absolutely no sense?? Why would you think that CA would make any difference that BRB, Gladiator, Morg, Terrax and even Thanos who prepped himself found Tyrant to be extremely powerfull, who even confronted Galactus who came to collect his herald Morg, who'm Tyrant turned Galctus down after he Galactus made his offer, and didn't confront Tyrant cause he didn't want to risk another all out battle. So, .....???

I'm confused?? Wasn't this done in IC 7, and that was SBP, who was tearing through most of the DCU and the GLC, and now you've put SMP, who's even more amped than SBP, and you thought the answer was gonna be any different, other then he tears through them that much more easier??
