Robert Rodriguez's Predators - Leaked Images

So last night I stumbled upon leaked pics of Rodriguez's upcoming film Predators - directed by Antal Nimród    ( Vacancy - Armored) a relatively unknown  director. I was able to snag the pics before they were removed, and felt I should share it with my fellow Comicvine people. Personally, I don't know if I'm crazy about Rodriguez doing this. As much as I love his other stuff and being a huge Predator fan since I was a child. When those movies were coming out back then and when Dark Horse would release all those Predator & Aliens comics. Ahhh those were the good ol' days. But the idea of Robert & the Predator franchise combined just doesn't seem to fit to me, or his cast that he has lined up to take on the Predators on their homeworld. Then again I could be proved wrong when this film comes out. I do appreciate how he's going by the late great Stan Winston's designs of the Predators and not the Paul Anderson version. But it just seems like something is off about these Predators. Just seems like they don't look right to me. I don't know I could be wrong.

What do you think ? Do you love it or hate it ? Do think this might bring back the Predator franchise back to when it was good or should they just let it go ? It's gonna be hard to compete against Arnold's commandos when it took just ONE Predator to take out his team. Now you got a team that's suppose to take on more than one. I guess we'll just see.

I love the concept. The predators look a little on the skinny side. Must be prior to CGI-enhancement.

I'm surprised. The Predators do look skinny, but I imagine that they are going to be bulked up for the movie. What really hit me is that Adrien Brody looks pretty badass in the gear and everything. Cool.

Wow, cool. I have faith in Rodriguez, he wrote it and put his name on it, he won't let it suck. And anything he's involved with is guaranteed to be insane. 
  
I'm glad they're thinner, the football player Predators in AVP1 looked retarded. They do look a little off though, the skin is almost white. Maybe they're are supposed to be covered in sand/ash/dust or something. Kevin Peter Hall would be proud.

It seems like a lot of peeps are saying what I also thought:  they look a bit skinny.  Looks like they hired ballet dancers to play the Predators.  Still, I think it will be a good movie, I don't have any hesitations with Robert Rodriguez at all, I've enjoyed all of his movies and involvement with other movies.   
 
I'll give it a shot as I'm also a fan of Predator.  Thanks for "swiping' these, I notice you seem to manage to get a lot of early pics and info about comics and movies, and it's great!

Let's hope it will be good. I'm a bit hesitate on it right now. I thought the Strause Brothers who did Requiem did a much better job with the Predator than Anderson did. Since, they didn't make the Predator so bulky and less slimey looking and not this clean looking armor crap. The only problem with the movie to me was it was too dark which was hard to make out what was going on. I didn't really care for the humans since all I cared about we're the predator Wolf and the Aliens. But for the Merc team in this one I do. Which is why I'm not too crazy about the casting except for Oleg ; and maybe Danny isn't too bad. But man is he little - I didn't think he was that short when I met him. lol

 

But thanks Decept-O I try to stay on top of these things as best I could. Lately, I've been M.I.A.  , but I'll get back on informing my Comicvine peeps on updates :)
