nuEarth-2 Re-imagination Project

List of characters I would like to see on the New 52's Earth-2. Please note, the comments below are what possible ways those 'wonders' could get introduced.

My suggestion for DC would be to make three books for the Earth-2 family:

1) Earth 2 being the weekly series that is world building with E-2 Batman, Mister Terrific, Aquawoman, Red Tornado, Val and Accountable.

2) Justice Society being the main Wonders of Earth-2 so Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Dr Fate, Flash, Atom, Sandman and Red Arrow with Major Sato being the liaison to the World Army

3) Infinity Inc being 6-7 superheroes from the future being the Legion of Super-Heroes of that Earth where they travel back in time to stop a big cataclysm from coming to pass.

The Hal Jordan of Earth-2 who is more controlled disciplined and strict man who joined the military instead of becoming a pilot. He was selected to use a prototype Edge-tech battle suit and assigned to join the government controlled All-Star Squadron.
16. Robert Crane
17. Danette Reilly

Government created superhero.
18. Young All-Stars

Think of them as the Teen Titans or Young Justice of Earth-2 consisting of sidekicks of some of the major heroes.

20. Huntress (Wayne)
21. Fury (Hall)

If she gets redeemed, would love to see her team up with Power Girl and Huntress. They could become the new Trinity of Earth-2.
22. Anna Fortune
23. Minute Man

Remake this as the private security force for Tylerco and support characters for Hourman?
24. Jakeem Thunder
25. Infinity, Inc.

Infinity Inc. would be the Legion of Super-Heroes from the Earth-2 timeline and consisting of wonders from the future. Quite possibly consist of; Jade, Obsidian, Brainwave Junior, Jesse Quick, Hourman android and Cyclone.
26. Jade
27. Brainwave Jr.

Make him either the leader or co-leader of the team and essentially the Brainiac 5 of Infinity, Inc.
28. Obsidian
29. Hourman (Matthew Tyler)

Created at Tylerco and is seen as a spiritual 'son' by Rex Tyler who has chronokinetic powers and serves as the time machine for Infinity Inc.
30. Tomcat
31. Cyclone
32. Jesse Chambers
33. Injustice Society
34. Ultra-Humanite

Main villain of the wonders of Earth-2.
35. Johnny Sorrow

Have him be a civilian who was caught in the middle of the Apokolips invasion forces and got lost in a Boom Tube where he got dumped into the Subtle Realm. Once there, he fell into despair and attracted the attention of the King of Tears who transformed Johnny Sorrow into his agent in the mortal world.
36. King of Tears

Extradimensional eldtrich horror who is the patron of Johnny Sorrow.
37. Brain Wave
38. Merry the Gimmick Girl

I would have her having a Harley Quinn/Joker style relationship with Brainwave with Brainwave Junior being their child in the future.
39. Max Mercury

Perhaps retool him into being an anti-hero on Earth-2 now and who got the remaining portions of Mercury's power before the Roman god died.
40. Dragon King

Change the name perhaps to Emperor Dragon and make him the head of a global crime syndicate and foe of the World Army. Perhaps Earth-2 version of Kobra. Maybe make the group like a pseudo-Kobra of Prime-Earth and that they regularly trade in black market Edge-Tech.
41. Tiger

Agent of the Dragon King and his criminal empire.
42. Sportsmaster

Loved his portrayal in Young Justice and think he should be retooled to being the 'Deathstroke' super mercenary of Earth-2 and occasional agent of the Dragon King.
43. Spirit King

Perhaps a guy plagued with the souls of all the dead killed by Terry Sloane when he sacrificed entire countries to fight Apokolips?
44. Dr. Iker

Tylerco employee who has learnt to harvest Fifth Dimensional matter to create 'golems' such as dwarves and giants.
45. Doctor Darkk

Tylerco employee robotics expert.
46. Dr Togg

Tylerc employee genetics expert.
47. Neptune Perkins

The Aquaman of Earth-2 with a different origin and history. I would perhaps make him more distant and cold and perhaps even arrogant. And a bit more concerned after looking after his people instead of working with the rest of the world.

49. Khufu

Hawkman of Earth-2 with ties to Hawkgirl and is actually the reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince.
50. Hath-Set

Enemy of Khufu and Shayera. Make him the Vandal Savage of Earth-2 with his bloodline creating a cult called the Children of Set who work to achieve his plans.
51. Tolos

Make him the Brainiac of Earth-2.
52. Rose Canton

Give her connections to the Green and give her a Poison Ivy-like approach in that she believes mankind is a blight on the world. So, she wants champions the rights of the Green and wants it to take over the planet.
53. Son of Vulcan

Make him the counterpart of Captain Marvel/Shazam of Earth-2 who drew power from the dead Roman gods.
54. Magog

Make him an anti-hero from Earth-2 who similar to the pre-Flashpoint version finds the sleeping body of the Old God Gog and gains some of his cosmic power. After that, he becomes an anti-hero and New God hunter who goes through any lengths to eliminate his foes. He hates idols and beings that want worship similar to Kingdom Come who hated Superman.
55. Arthur Cranston

Senior partner of Cranston, Grayson and Wayne law firm?
56. Blackwing

The Nightwing of Earth-2? Maybe a partner for Helena Wayne.
57. Barry O'Neill

Make him an Earth-2 inhabitants. Maybe a love interest for Helena Wayne?
58. Terry Sloane

Anti-hero/villain
59. Lando, Man of Magic
60. Tex Thomson

Harry 'Tex' Thomson aka Mr. America. Maybe hero who becomes a politician.

This actually pretty interesting. Not sure I like the idea of restricting Infinity Inc. characters to future heroes, but otherwise this is really interesting.

Thank you! And sorry for the late response, I thought responses would be flagged on the lists so didn't see your response.

Personally, my thoughts are turning Infinity Inc. into Earth-2's Legion of Super-Heroes and Young All-Stars being kind of the Young Justice of that version of Earth. But that's just my opinion really.

the Silver Scarab and Dr. Midnite.

Silver Scarab: Hector hol is the son of Katar Hol and Shayera Hol, two Thanagarian soldiers who landed on Earth in Ancient Egypt. They were worshiped as gods and became king and queen. On Earth they had a son, Hector. As a young man Hector found the Blue Beetle Scarab, or rather it found him. The alien technology merged with him and, combined with his Thanagarian Nth Metal turned him into the Silver Scarab. The Nth Metal altered the programming of the Scarab giving Hector complete control and alter his powers. When Hector seemingly died he merely was absorbed into the Scarab. Centuries later Terry Sloane found the Scarab and couldn't get it to work, until he could and to keep others from using it it was locked in the volts along with Aquagirl, Jimmy Olsen, and other possible threats. After the second invasion by Apocalypse and the Parademons, the Scarab resurfaced. On accident it was unlocked and Hector was alive again. Now in modern times, and is now the protector Silver Scarab. (Because of the Nth Metal the scarab is forever connected, part of, Hector). Just like Jaime he can fly using the wings, and shoot energy blasts from his hands by turning them into gun like weapons. Hector has all the same powers Jamie has in the comics. Essentially he is Earth 2's Blue Beetle.

With Hector I tried to simplify his origins which are as tangled as his father's, Pre-New 52.

Dr. Midnite: Beth Chapel was finishing up her medical degree, ready to become a doctor, when she started loosing her vision. She found out that she had a degenerative eye condition which would eventually make her totally blind. After two years a medical study with the goal of returning eye sight came along looking for volunteers. Beth accepted the chance. The results hardly worked for any of the volunteers, but Beth had strange results. She could see but only in darkness. Furthermore, and more unusual, was that her reflexes and strength, and speed, were heightened. (It was an Earth 2 version of the drug that gave Deathstroke his powers.) She hid all these from the doctors and became the vigilante Dr. Midnite. She created blackout bombs that were like reverse flash grenades. Using that same technology she also created batons that would stun her opponents. Allowing her flashes of sight when she hits her enemies. She also hides these, like Daredevil in Marvel Comics, as walking canes she uses to get around. (I also have an idea that she becomes the vigilante Dr. Midnite to stop some of the other volunteers who experienced similar results as she did and tried to steal more of the drug. Her pet owl, Hooty, used to belong to the Doctor who ran the medical study but died at the hands of one of the other volunteers. I also feel that to explain her combat skills she either has been in mixed martial arts since grade school because of the naighborhood she grew up in, like the other Dr. Midnite, or she was trained by Earth 2 Batman, or both.)

Slight change to this: She was a became a Doctor and soldier in the World Armyb ut got a Honorable Discharge when she started to go blind. That way she was already trained as a soldier in combat, to explain her fighting skills, and why she would even consider this line of work.

Her origin would probably take place after the Evil Superman, Second Apocalypse Invasion, in Earth 2.

Great list. I always thought that Earth 2 should have become an imprint rather than a title. We could have gotten solo titles for The Flash, GL, Dr. Fate, Infinity Inc and also JSA.

Thanks :) I felt the same. They could easily have an Earth-2 line and have Earth-2 as the world building book, JSA as the main superhero one and others on the various individual heroes such as Flash and GL or Fate. I would argue though that on single titles that they focus on people like say Doctor Fate instead of GL as it might confuse readers. Some might think they are reading the Prime Earth one instead of the Earth-2. Not saying Alan Scott doesn't deserve a title but the duplicate issue can make it problematic for new readers me thinks.
