They could've done without all the vitriol but i found myself agreeing with most of their points; it pisses me off too when people put white rappers on a pedestal and act like they reinvented the game. Eminem is good but he didn't bring anything new to the game, and there's no doubt in my mind that if he was black he wouldn't have gotten all the attention he received. Redman did everything he did and better, but he and many other hip hop artists didn't and still don't get recognition from the masses because of the medias portrayal of the "evils of hip hop culture".
White America ignored many of the black pioneers of rock and roll and shifted their focus to guys like Elvis and the Beatles even though their music was derived from guys like Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry. A rock icon like Jimi Hendrix didn't get any love in the U.S. but was well received overseas.
It's ufckin ridiculous how America ignores and/or despises black culture until they can lay claim to it, and that's when the accolades begin.
