I'm gonna read it and give it a chance, but right now I don't feel really positive about it. Isn't there about 50 kid heroes in Marvel they could have used instead of adding another one?

Upon getting back into comics books, I had to make the switch to digital. The closest comic store is an hour away for me. So digital is very nice right now. It's just annoying to read it off of an iPod touch though, so I'm looking to get an iPad as soon as I have enough to get one. 80% of why I want an iPad is to use it for reading comics.

What about Silver Sable? Outside of ASM, she's not in anything else. Black Widow is already featured in 3 different books (Secret Avengers, Avengers Assemble, and Winter Soldier). I think Silver Sable would be great since she already has some history with Spider-Man.

@darthfury78: Actually I wanted to see more of it, because I actually like that pairing a lot better than the other women in his life (that includes Mary Jane). I actually can see that working out. Just don't let it overshadow who the characters are. The relationship could work a lot better than the one he had with Black Cat.

I like the match up with Ms. Marvel, but the problem is that she can take out a lot of Spider-Man's enemies without a lot of problems.

I wouldn't want to watch it. The reason is because it seems like people see this coming and this would be the thing to do. I hate the idea of love triangles. I just want to see Wonder Girl (Cassie) stand out her on own. I don't need to see her character defined by her relationship with another character.

@SavageDragon: I will look into The Black Mirror. I'm trying to get into more DC Comics right now. I actually wanted to read Dick Grayson's run as Batman. He's one of my favorite characters of all-time. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for me.

I haven't read an issue yet. Is the series really that good? I feel like I'm missing out on something.

@The Poet: Well from my choices it's mostly X-Men and Avengers characters. I want to learn more of the history of Marvel to actually know the motivations of these characters. I knew next to nothing about the whole cast of the New Avengers outside of Wolverine, The Thing, Daredevil, and Spider-Man. I didn't even know who Iron Fist was until about 3 years ago. Also outside of the X-Men cartoon from the 90s, I don't know a lot on X-Men except they're split and Xavier is not the leader anymore.

I mostly like to read stories that's gonna have me guessing til the end. I also like to read comics that's gonna have me laughing. That's one reason I like Spider-Man til this day. I want to read more of DC characters also, because I don't really know the history of those characters outside of the Batman family. Money has also been a problem for me on what I want to read also, because I was thinking on Secret Avengers, Batman, Nightwing, Green Lantern, and some others. Mostly the mainstream stuff.

Glad I found this thread. I'm just getting back into comics after about a 10 year absence. I was looking for a spot to get back in. In the last year I've purchased: New Avengers, Justice League (New 52), Wolverine & The X-Men, and Avengers vs. X-Men. I'm enjoying what I'm reading, but these characters have so much history, I'm a little confused on a lot of the characters origins.

I'm really into Marvel, but I need a starting point there. I was thinking about starting with the House of M and go my way down. I was looking for suggestions on what to read and would be glad to hear some. DC and/or Marvel? Thanks to anyone who can help.
