honestly i'd rather watch superman four, and batman and robin, continuously, on a loop, for the rest of forever, then watch man of steel or dark knight rises again.
without rifftrax. superman four, is way more, superman, thin this thing.
this has more in common with "bearded idiot".
and that is what it should be called. not superman. just be referred to, as bearded idiot, for now on.
Wow... Just wow...
Whoever wrote that, got the "bearded idiot" thing from an internet reviewer (who are usually even worse than professional critics). I don't mind a negative review of a film I like (though I haven't seen this one yet), but critics seem to be completely missing the point here, especially ones claiming that it's too dark or serious, when that was what we were told it was going to be from the start.
Regarding the Charlie Brooker Transformers quote, in this case he is actually a comedian, and it's pretty much his job to be an asshole. If you don't take him too seriously, he's actually one of the most geek-friendly critics around, and insults himself almost as often.
Thanks for this. I pretty much stopped reading Marvel/DC around the time the new 52 launched (probably only read the first two weeks worth of those), but I'm looking to get back into it and some of these look interesting.
Don't even have to think about it. Money wins easily.
I'm not at all interested in finding a "special someone". There's so much more to life. I'll be able to eat at fancier restaurants and eat out in general more regularly, explore the world, own every film, game, book, etc., I want, fund my own projects, provide money to scientific research and causes that I'm interested in, and I'll still be able to get some lovin'.
I generally love any kind of burger, but I think people mentioning things like Burger King and such as their favorite are missing out. I mean those joints have their uses for a cheap and quick meal, and I don't want to come off as a snob, but I can't imagine people liking those burgers better than a properly crafted one. Even with fast food, there's better stuff like In-N-Out, Steak N' Shake, and Five Guys. Where I live now, we don't have many options in terms of burger joints, so I have to make do with BK, Hardees, or McDonald's when I want a burger, unless I'm willing to spend twice as much.
