This storyline would be so much better if it had been used for the cosmic line and not the Avengers IMO

I really do not understand why Domino have become the X-Men's designated easy lay

When it comes to X-Men and Iron Man I am about as anti-Fraction as it comes, but I have to give it to him on this title.

It has it's imperfections but the charm more than makes up for it.

Can we just take a moment to applaud Jamie McKelvie for being basically the only person EVER to draw Scarlet Witch and not have her look utterly ridiculous (and in this case, she actually looks kind of awesome)?

No

As much of a fan as I was of the Modular Armor concept back in the 90's, going back to that motif makes no sense whatsoever. I have read the half-a$$ reasoning given by Tony but I do not buy it. The current armors are a giant step back from either Extremis or Bleeding Edge, both of which could be modified to use external modules to do the same job without returning to a now obsolete design.

It really comes down to the writer/artist wanting to show Tony in multiple new armors, I understand this but if they are going to go in this direction they need to give a real reason for it. An easy out would be to use the same reason Kurt Busiek used years ago, that the energy fields of the armor were harmful to Tony, which would make even more sense with the suit being stored within his body. Just another case of marvel writers being lazy and not taking the time to lay the groundwork.

The art man, the art. Can't take it.

I agree, not a fan of the art at all, Land is a poor fit

The plots are somewhat weak, but it is a fun book to read. Hawkeye is proving to be a much better fit for Fraction that X-Men or Iron Man were. Kate Bishop makes this book just as much as Clint, it's nice she is not simply being used as the generic sidekick.

Very disappointed by the first issue, not strong at all IMO. But this is Hickman, and with his track record I am more than willing to wait 6 issues before judging or dropping the book.

5 stars? Really? Wow. Just wow. Giving this book a perfect rating is stunning to me. I thought this last year and a half of stories have been the worst Legacy has ever been. This issue being no exception. The constant shoving down our throats about how amazing Rogue is, that awful love triangle that dragged on for a year longer than it should have, and the rest of the book's cast getting shoved into irrelevance was all terrible writing. Thankfully it seems Rememder is going to ignore her Mar Sue-like characterization here for his UA book.

I would not go that far, but I agree the Rogue-centric arc has been pretty dull. Her transition from generic X-person to now teacher and leader of the year has pretty much come out of nowhere and made up on the spot. No team book should have so much focus on one character, there are many others just languishing.
