@saren: Beat me to the punch! I'd have to say All-Star Superman. Though it doesn't really seem fair comparing the two considering All-Star is a self-contained story and Batman RIP is part of a much larger story.
If DC had unleashed all the new titles I was expecting in the April Solicits (judging from all the cancellations, it looks like all the good stuff will be in the May Solicits), they might have taken it - but Image is killing it hardcore. So they've got my vote.
Colour me crazy but I'm really digging what DC is doing here. They seem to be stretching their legs and aren't afraid to jump out of a predetermined comfort zone.
Completely agree. Johns has been doing a pretty stellar job with Luthor in Forever Evil and I'm excited to see where this goes. In fact, I'll be even more excited if Luthor's turn here winds up being genuine and not simply a means to an end (some power play, for instance).
The first issue I remember buying is Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual #1.
Of course, by the time I bought it the thing was about ten years old. Then I remember being heavily involved in the Ultimate-Spider Man series (Bendis' original run) and the early Savage Dragon stuff (which I had to pick up as back-issues).
As a huge fan of the original Gojira series, I am so into this trailer. I loved Edwards' debut as well and I think it shows he knows where the real gold of the stories is.
I see everyone complaining they don't want too much human focus but that's the wrong line of thinking. Monster fun is always great but the best kaiju films are the ones with a strong human story as well, imo.
@the_tree: Yeah I mostly agree with that. Just wanted to cover all the options. :P I love this look for Harper, if that's actually who it is. I imagined her as more of an Oracle-type character, but I guess there's no harm in some street-level action as well. That would be an interesting mix.
I'm most excited for Days of Future Past but Winter Soldier is a very close second. Glad to see they're tied for the lead. I'm actually really curious about Guardians of the Galaxy, all of the information so far has been so completely nuts that it could be great.
@sho3s22: I think there's a possibility that this will be a new Nightwing but I think there is next to no chance that Dick Grayson will die. For as much as DC has done wrong, I still don't think they are that stupid. He will probably be starting up a new identity/persona, since his old one has been compromised. I still think he's the blonde in the Batsgiving picture.
