@anthonysmyth: That whole fight was written terribly and it hindered the movie, which is a big problem. I liked the new Star Wars film it was good but far from great the choices in the last 1/4 are what lost it points with me. Kylo Ren is a whiny emotional character who should of only removed his helmet once with Han because as soon as its off all intimidation factor goes out the window. As for his wound he should still of been able to taken care of these characters, Finn got a hit on him which made little sense and the stuff with Rey was an odd choice. Rey should of held her own taken a hit or two showed lots of promise and as the fight turned to Kylo's favor the planet should of cracked to set up growth for Rey and rebuild some of the lost intimidation for Kylo, but we did not get that. Instead we have Rey beat him with relative ease not even taking damage and that needs to be explained as to how it happened in the next film. Even if they use the excuse that Luke guided his daughter with the force to protect her.

At this point Kylo is the most useless Starwars villain they ever had. He could not beat two newbies holding a light saber for the first time, he would be crushed by the mad titan.

Yes, and the success of Renew your vows shows Marvel many people want them back together. Fans put there money where there mouths are so there is no reason for them not to start planting seeds and getting them back together. With books like Spidey and the Miles lead Spider-Man there is plenty of young and single Spider-Men so lets have a married father for a change.

@slayz: Dude I know it is, but I just did not like that movie. Part of me thinks it was the hype so many people billed so highly that it just never came close to hitting that bar.

@comicstooge: Weidman won the first but after that, the fight really became one sided Luke took the second was a little bit gassed but was still leading the fight, then the wheel kick happened and it was over after that.

It was competitive. I had Rockhold up for round 2 and obviously 3/4 as well, but 2 and the first half of 3 were close, Weidman was doing damage of his own.

Yeah your right Weidman was doing some damage but it never really felt like he was controlling the pace or putting Luke in a bad situation. I could be looking at the fight with a slight bias simply because I'm a big Rockhold fan.

Rockhold's great, I love the guy. Really hope he gets to avenge his loss to Vitor.

Did you see his FIghtland video? He's a straight g.

Loading Video...

Agreed, I don't know if Vitor will get a title shot any time soon but this Rockhold is on a new level. You can tell that knockout lit that fire in him again and he just became a killer, Also that video was bad ass. Off topic part of me wishes that happens with Aldo, because I do want to see a rematch for the strap but I don't want to see the Aldo who has showed up the last few times so hopefully the spark is back and him and Connor put on a fight that gets out of the first.

I out weigh him by 40 pounds and have some amateur wrestling experience, If I keep my distance and shoot I think I could use my weight advantage to hold him down for a round but that is all I could do because he would K.O me on my feet.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Laugh if you want but being out weighted is very hard especially if that person takes you down and smothers you. Plus we saw when he fought Chad, he can be taken down and out wrestled.

So you're as good as Chad Mendes now LMAO.

People really have no idea how badly an MMA fighter at the level of Conor McGregor would destroy them, do they? You're seriously delusional man, he'd wreck you with oblique and body kicks and shut you off with one straight left.

Legit lol'd.

Yes your really putting words in my mouth, A full training camp at a professional MMA camp. I may be able to wrestle the man for 5 mins. Your right he would kill me on my feet, but the question was not did I think I could beat Connor it was do I think I could last 5 mins, and the only plan of attack I could come up with to last those 5 mins are to wrestle him something I was pretty good at in college and highschool.

Under no shape and form am I saying I'm better then Mendes or Edgar because its not true, with that said Connor has terrible wrestling, its something that will be exposed in future championship bouts. This is all hypothetical and I gave an answer of a plan on how I would try to last 5 mins with added weight and more training that is how I would attempt to do it. But by all means keep putting words in my mouth, Pretty soon you will be saying I'm calling out Rockhold and DC for referencing them.

His wrestling is terrible when compared to elite level wrestlers. Chad Mendes is one of the very best wrestlers in the UFC. It's honestly f***ing lolworthy that you think you could actually take McGregor down before he blasts you on the feet. Being "pretty good" in high school and college will not cut it. You think every tom, dick and harry who won a couple tournaments in high school wrestling could take Conor McGregor down?

You spoke of your weigh advantage, yet look at Brock Lesnar, who was an NCAA division 1 national wrestling champion, when he had his famous wrestling match with Kurt Angle. Angle was like 6 years removed from winning the gold medal in wrestling and Lesnar had a huge weight advantage and Angle won. Weight doesn't matter nearly as much as you think it does when the skill gap is more pronounced.

And no, Edgar will lose to him also. McGregor won't lose until he moves up to 155, no one at '45 is beating him. Edgar's rushing TD he does when he puts one hand low to grab the leg and one hand high to plant on the chest and put you down is so telegraphed, you see him rush it and miss multiple times in every fight. McGregor would read it and put him down like he did Aldo.

Okay dude now your taking this too seriously, this is a fun what if type of situation. Do I honestly think I have a shot against this dude. Nope he would kill me but if I did get this "shot" I would try to out wrestle him and smother him to last 5 mins. Is it reality no, would it ever happen no but "if" this ever happen which we established it would not, I have my silly little 20 second plan it took me to think up. Again he is professional athlete, I was an amateur this would never happen its all in good jest.

Don't count Edgar out he is not going to go in throwing jabs he will throw leg kicks ( Something Conor doesn't check) and shoot for a take down wanting to smother him with ground and pound like Chad did he will not get gassed with a full camp under him. Also Conor's wide leg stance sets up single leg take downs nicely something Edgar is amazing at. Conor K.O'd Aldo ( Hat goes of to Conor for a good game plane) so fast because Aldo was stupid and did not leg kick him and keep distance no one else is going to make that mistake now dude. Conor will get out wrestled to lose his title and it will not be entertaining when it does.

With all of that said, Dana will not let Edgar near the title yet. Aldo will get his rematch and if he gets the fire back in him, uses leg kicks to set up take downs he could take his belt back.
