My opinion on this is that mythology is (basically) just religions that are no longer practiced. Eventually, the current religions give way to newer ones. That is, if history is anything to go by. I'd go into more detail about why I don't think current ones will stay, but people may dislike that.

One final question then. Does Team 1 know this? The others have all met at some point, but Blink is from another Universe so they probably don't know her too well.
 
If they don't, she can probably take a couple of their heavy hitters out before they have time to do anything.
If they know, she's out first and Team 2 loses that huge advantage.
 
Either  way, I think it's a close one. Team 2 has my vote though, for the reason above, as well as having two good telepaths.

If you wanted it to be more even, would switching Thor for Hercules help? He'd be a less over-powered counterpart to Ares.
