One person who fits the profile of Batman that know one has considered before is Man-Bat. Wouldn't it be sweet if the new Batman could transform into a man sized bat creature anytime he wanted too. There is probably zero chance of Man-Bat becoming Batman, but it's fun to think about. The Man-Bat one shot definitely made it seem like he'll become more of a hero now who might help the new Batman from time to time.
Has anyone seen this cover to Batman and Robin #3 yet? I don't know if you can tell in this picture, but Batman and Robin are in the middle fighting off like a million bad guys. Does anyone know what or who they are fighting?
I just think Bruce's return would be really boring if Dick became Batman. There would be no conflict unless Dick sucked as Batman and crime in Gotham had gotten too big for him to handle. Still, what would happen to Dick when Bruce returned? Would he just become Nightwing again?
I don't know if people would like to read comics about Jason being Batman, but people would love a story arc about Bruce coming back and reclaiming the cowl from a corrupted Jason Todd. We all know Bruce is coming back eventually and it won't be very exciting if Dick's Batman and he's just like "Oh hey Bruce, I guess you can be Batman again. I'll just go back to being Nightwing."
I see one alternative possibility to Dick Grayson becoming Batman. What if Jason Todd kills Dick Grayson and becomes an evil/anti-hero Batman. Damian decides to team up with him for whatever reason. Meanwhile Tim Drake becomes Red Robin and starts to search for Bruce who is the only one who can stop Jason.
One of the biggest mysteries to me is, what will happen to Jason? Will he stay a villain and continue to wear the same costume? If so what will they call him?
