Very true, I never would have thought to think about comparing the two movies that way and contrasting their structures/styles but it's a very astute observation.

Is this is accurate to the comic, this could be THE best animated comic movie ever done. One of my absolute all-time fav stories.

SOOO hard choosing just one character for this ultimate team. 
I have 3 in mind right now, all of which aren't up there yet....
 
Most of my favs are already up there, and I'm confident that at least some form of them will get votes, so I'll go with an unlikely but awesome choice...

i netflixed the original Swedish version so I'll probably watch it this weekend. 
 
If I like it, I'll check the remake out, but probably not in theatres.
