@cable_extreme: If I'm not mistaken, Currently, Iceman can use the full extent of his powers even when his physical body is destroyed, as a sentient consciousness.

This fight is truly between Storm and Iceman vs Raven and Flash

Storm has incredible psionic resistance that helps fight between most forms of psionic intrusion/manipulation, including empathy. She has resisted the most powerful telepaths on earth on a number of occasions, with and without her powers, resisted and overcame possession by Malice, resisted and overcame the emotional manipulation by Psychoman, and overcame the magical control of Loki.

It is explained that this is due to the static electricity that her body naturally creates (she create a live current within her own body! It's a great testament to her overall willpower and skill. Storm has the higher offensive ability with the superior reaction timing. I believe that if Storm uses this advantage to overwhelm Raven, while resisting her empathic assults (which she's fully capable of doing) the Teen Titans lose one of the top gunners..This makes it easier for her and Iceman to wreak havoc. Out of both teams both Storm and Iceman are the scariest when bloodlusted!

Storm's mortal hell puts her at a distinct disadvantage. I'm sure Torch can go supernova, but Bobby can bring the vicinity down to absolute zero as well, substantially quicker than Torch raising the temperature up to that level

@bmezy: Then you clearly have no understanding of how Storm's powers operate. the hypothalamus, which is located in the brain, regulates the temp within the body. due to their mutant biology Storm and Bobby's hypothalamus regulate temp to the extreme thus he can transform his body into organic matter and she can adapt to even the harshest conditions. Her body subconsciously regulates temperature in and round her all the time making her highly resistant. 30+ years of development however has placed her to be immune to the elements. It's been stated and displayed on panel numerous times. She's endure being in the atmosphere where it is so cold and so thin a human would die in minutes (she was up there for hours) and proceeded to channel a hyper blizzard through herself to spread it across the entire North America. Hell she's even held Iceman while he unleashed near absolute zero cold and was unaffected. Even recently she's escaped Bobby's flash freeze with no harm done to herself. if he's going to freeze her internally he will have to overcome her subconscious which I don't see him pulling off.

"She's also highly resistance to every form of attack Iceman has, I may even argue her being completely immune."

I may not have the extensive knowledge as you about storm, but I think I know enough to add a different perspective. I do not want to sound blasphemous in my claims so please don't be afraid to correct me if you deem something invalid or wrong.

First and foremost, I understand that Storm's mutant ability gives her a certain amount of resistance to Bobby's elemental-based powers but I ALSO believe that he's quite capable of overwhelming her by either weakening or getting around her defenses. Storm may be immune to temperature produced by nature or her own power but that doesn't necessarily gives her immunity to Bobby thermokinetic abilities.

I've witnessed Storm channeling hemisphere-sized blizzards through her body as well as transforming her body into a live current via electricity when she threatened Sebastian. I'm quite sure she's capable of drawing large amounts of heat out of the surrounding atmosphere and channeling it into her body as well as dissipating moisture out of the area on whim also..Trust me I understand the phenomenon that is Storm.

@vance_astro: Despite being highly resistant to elemental attacks (due to her connection to the earth's energy that governs the weather patterns) I do believe that she can and would be overcome by Bobby's proficient control over moisture via thermokinesis..I doubt there's little Storm can do to protect herself from his more "deadlier" attacks.

@roddy010: I wouldn't say she's completely immuned

@vance_astro: All he answers to your questions about Storm and her powers can.be found n her power discussion thread.

Storm has a high level of resistance to telepathy due to a combination of her indomitable will and the hyper static synapses within her brain. Shadow King, Xavier, Jean Grey, Rachel, Emma Frost, Elias Bogan have all been countered directly or indirectly by Storm at one of her career. This is a consistent level of resistance. She also countered high level tk i.e Psylocke, Candra

As far as Iceman in concerned, even in his recent incarnation he has been shown to be susceptible to pain. We've already had this discussion and Storm has already knocked him out twice with her lightning. With efficient force he can still be knocked out. She could also just use the process of electrolysis and completely split his atoms altogether. She's also highly resistance to every form of attack Iceman has, I may even argue her being completely immune.

Any omega level mutant that requires air to breath falls under her dominion. It's as easy as evacuating the air from their lungs, a technique she has perfected over the years and is not afraid to use this as a tactic.

Fixed

I agree with most of this. Except for this "highly resistance to every form of attack Iceman has, I may even argue her being completely immune" - I disagree with the immuned part.

@foreverevil: I don't think my efforts would make much of a difference. Jean and Bobby (two of the X-Men's most powerful mutants) turn into HUGE jobbers when they're hampered by their humanity (morals). They operate at about HALF their potential normally. They would have to pull out the big guns to change anything significant in favor of their team and I just don't see them doing

It wasn't specified if Superman was out of character..Does fighting "to the death" equate to "no morals"?? And if that's true does that mean that Superman would resort to fighting in a way that even He wouldn't consider: i.e - "punch heads off", "get atomized by heat vision before their synapses even fire"

etc..

Also, why would Superman begin a fight with a ridiculously fast speed blitz against total stranger?? Was pre-flashpoint Superman really THAT impulsive?? Even when fighting "to the death"??

I'm simply trying to add logic, here
