@JakeN7: Exactly. I was crafting the story back during the newest relaunch of the Ultimate line when Spencer wasn't using Jimmy too much, but when Wood took over I had faith in his direction and never did anything with it. I have bad confidence with my stories and it's people such as yourself that show me that my ideas are good. It's easy to forget that if I enjoy it than others probably will as well, and that I should take initiative and try to pitch my idea next time even if it does end up falling on deaf ears.

@JakeN7: I did not actually. I drew from many interactions that Wolverine had with characters that managed to survive Ultimatum. Storm and Colossus were involved near the beginning and had what I thought were sincere moments. In the previews I've seen, Bunn has even utilized the same box Kitty gave Jimmy back in Ultimate X #1 that I used more or less as an inciting incident. I had the working title of [Legacy] for the story arc which kind of made me chuckle, but also felt a little like a knife prick when I saw the first cover with the story arc title on the side.

@JakeN7: He definitely does. It is hard to make a legacy transition with only four issues. I used to have delusions of grandeur that I may be able to tell a story with him. It was a twelve part story that involved Wolverine, Sabretooth, Cable and Jimmy. Story was fun now that I look back on it :)

@bsmith1190: Oh yes. Loved that series, and I love that the comic book continuations are able to capture the same feeling of that universe.
