You know, I could understand Bette's fans frustration if she doesn't show up again, at least to make a cameon as Flamebird. I'd be unfair cause Barbara Gordon showed up as much as her and now she's part of the team :P

It is not that I am huge Flamebird fan. I think she is cool, but I dont really love care about her. I agree however with your reasoning though. B.Gordon has been in the show as much and as long as B.Kane, before this season. She also knew Artemis and Robin, and seemed to have a friendship with Batgirl. Plus the writers love using characters that have not been spotlighted in the shows before. This would be Flamebird's first cartoon appearance.

As of the episode Beneath, this is what I think for the rosters

THE TEAM

01-09 = The original Team

B10-B16 = Tempest, Aquagirl, Lagoon Boy, Batgirl, Flamebird (?), Donna Troy (?), Robin (Jason Todd) (?)

B17 - Bumblebee

(B18 - Mal Duncan)

B19 - Beast Boy

B20 - Robin (Tim Drake)

(B21 - Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark))

B22 - Blue Beetle

JUSTICE LEAGUE

01-21 = The League

22 - Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) (?)

23 - Blue Devil (?), Vixen (?)

24 - Black Lightning

25 - Zatanna

26 - Rocket

Justice League

These are my thoughts. The two missing Leaguers could be Green Lantern Guy Gardner and Blue Devil because they were already considered for the membership five years ago. The two spots could belong to Wally and Kaldur, but I have a feeling it won't be. Even though I think Kaldur "fell from grace", he could have been on the League before doing so. Wally could also be The Flash now. I just think their might be more story there than them joining the League. I am HOPING that the two spots go to Vixen and Cyborg/Dr. Light/Starfire. At least one spot for Vixen. I would hate to think that since Black Canary (13), Zatanna and Rocket were the only two females added to the League (25 and 26). That would make 20 men, 5 women, and 1 Android that identifies as a man. I would be happy with Gardner and Vixen on the League.

The Team:

I am more excited to find out who the five or six missing members of The Team have been. I say five or six because I do not know if Zatanna moved from being A03 to B08 on the Team. If she did not, then Rocket would be B08. I am assuming Lagoon Boy and Batgirl came first since they seem older than the others (let's say B16, B15), which could leave SIX spots open. I feel like Jason Todd may have been Robin for a short while since Nightwing told Tim Drake not to die very dramatically. I also think Flamebird, Tempest (Garth), Aquagirl (Tula), and Arrowette are possible since they have made cameos in the past. I think Secret moved on to the spirit world , so I doubt she was on The Team. I am also hoping that Static, Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, OR Donna Troy could be possible past members.

Static and Herald

Static has never been mentioned. Robin does talk to "Mal" in the new Young Justice game though.

We are not sure who is on the team yet. Nightwing's arrival is confusing. Batgirl, Bumblebee, Wonder Girl, Blue Beetle, Lagoon Boy, Herald, and Beast Boy may be a part of some future Young Justice team. Unless Nightwing is time traveling from the future to the present, then the team may be: Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, Zatanna, Rocket, Wonder Girl, Batgirl, Bumblebee, Herald, Lagoon Boy, Beast Boy, and Blue Beetle. I doubt Red Arrow is on the team. He probably will be making an appearance, but he is still looking for Speedy.

WTF IS THIS!? CASSIE AS WONDER GIRL!? YOU CAN'T HAVE DICK AS ROBIN AND WALLY AS KID FLASH AND THEN HAVE CASSIE AS WONDERGIRL. This angers me. A lot. I call the extreme BS red flag on DC right now.

They totally can. Kaldur is the first Aqualad in this world, not Garth. Zatanna is on Young Justice instead of Justice League. I see Cassie taking the mantle of Wonder Girl instead of Donna the exact same. I am just happy that they have introduced a Wonder Girl at all. It sucked that we had to go through the first season without her. I am totally excited to see Cassie kick some ass.

Well since everyone here knows what's going on in the next few episodes, I dont feel bad. I found it interesting that Superboy said he knew what Miss Martian looked like since Bialya, so I went back to the episode "Bereft" to see it for myself. I guess a lot of people noticed this, but I totally overlooked this clip. Look at this:

This entire season was so well planned. I love how the writers went back to small things in the beginning season, and showed that they are still important to the plot near the end. I totally overlooked this picture when I first watched the show, but there it is. Superboy did know. So cool! I cannot wait for the next season! :D

Are we sure the Batgirl on the toy is Barbara? I really want it to be and it probably is, but we can't see her face or hair color. It could be possibly be Kate in the popular Barbara suit. Or maybe there are two? Kate and Barbara are together a lot in the show (think "Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman").

The only character I really want to join the team is Wonder Girl. I know a lot of people agree. The mantle is huge in the comics and it is the most popular "sidekick" role under a female JLA member. Plus I think a super strong girl that could take on Superboy would be awesome. I don't care if it is Donna or Cassie. I get why Donna would make sense with respect to Dick, Wally, and Roy, but Cassie could also work as the first Wonder Girl in a similar way to Kaldur as the first Aqualad.

I also think Lagoon Boy might replace Aqualad as the Aquaman sidekick on the team, but I kind of wish they'd go with Garth, Tula, or Lorena Marquez if they have to (or just keep Kaldur!). The other characters I think would be fun to see are Static (see his interaction with Rocket), Supergirl (see Superman and Superboy's reaction to a new cousin), and maybe Kyle Ryner and/or Jade as young Green Lanterns. I know its unlikely with the Green Lantern show, but I still think it would be a cool dynamic on the team and they have already introduced the other three Lanterns. Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg would make fun cameos as well (unless Cyborg and/or Starfire is on the JLA, which would be cool).

Last thing. I agree with with MrMiracle77. The 3 female to 12 male Justice League roster is weird to me. I know they'd have Zatanna on the roster if they didn't de-age her, but there are other women that should join. Vixen? Fire and Ice? Doctor Light? Batwoman? I hope Season 2 brings in some new adult women.

Still not completely sure what that suit means though. We'll have to wait and see.

Any chance Shadowcat and Colossus will work things out?

If not, I like the idea of Beast and Cecilia Reyes!

That episode sucked ¬¬. Captain Marvel saved it from being too desappointing. It was only useful for Shadows to recover that primitive creature... still, they could have come up with something better planned.

For me, that Helmet trade was just a stupid excuse to keep Zatanna on the team. Talking about her, what is she doing there anyway? Trying to be Robin's romantic partner? Trying to prove herself and "be as good as her father, as a way to get him back"? Cause for me she's doing any of this. The team was good without her and all the episodes she is in are a bit boring. SHE's boring.I guess DC just didn't know what to do with such a poor character so "hell, no one knows who's she, she does absolutely nothing important in comics, so let's put her in a TV series and see if people don't forget her name".

I'm just waiting till Wonder Girl (one of the original team members) to show up. As well as Arrowette, the creators said she'd appear too.

HOWEVER, two details caught my attetion: that heroine who stopped the school bus from falling from the bridge. Who's she? It's the second time she appears. Another thing is that Bette, Barbara and Comissioner Gordon are appering more often. Makes me wonder if they're gonna do someting bigger on the show, later on.

Well...let's wait.

Zatanna is a great character and quite well known among the DC universe and I for one find her to be an interesting member of the team........but, to each his own

Wonder Girl couldn't appear because of issues with Wonder Woman rights...which have since been resolved, so she might show up in season 2. Where is the source in which you heard Arrowette would show up?? It seems they have too many archers on the show as is and they seemed to have based Artemis on her somewhat

The girl that caught the school bus is Rocket from Milestone comics (same as Static Shock) it appears she will be joining the team according to promo images...
I agree with CattleBattle...Zatanna is my favorite female superheroine as well as being the second best girl on the show (besides Artemis) however now that she is officially apart of the team, she might eventually become more interesting than Artemis. Zatanna is a fantastic character.

I agree! Zatanna is an awesome addition to the team. The fact that she is the daughter of one of the Leaguers makes for a great storyline. There is a reputation he has on the team with his given specialty, which is difficult to live in the shadow of. She wants to prove herself but she is also young, scared, and insecure. Plus the fact that as her dad, he was disapproving and overbearing makes for an authentic and realistic storyline. AND she ends up loosing him because of her own actions. TRAGIC! I also love her powers. Backward spells sound and look really cool in this show. The episodes she has appeared have been some of the most interesting in the show to me. Red Tornado Family and Secret/Harm. Right out of the comics and with some really serious themes. I really like the creative approach Greg Weisman has taken with her character and the entire show. It is fresh. I agree her love story with Robin is kind of weak, but it is only the beginning. I want to see what happens between them.

I really want to see Wonder Girl in this show as well, but I also hope Zatanna stays for the long haul. The more female characters the better in my opinion!
