Billionaire Tony Stark created for himself a powerful armored suit, becoming Iron Man and saving the world from evil masterminds like the Mandarin. Tony was approached in New York City by Nick Fury to join the League, and later Iron Man became the benefactor of the team.

Martian Manhunter, also J'on Jonzz, came from mars during World War II after awakening from cryosleep. He became a hero, aiding Captain America and the Justice Squad against the Nazis, Hydra, Japan and other villains. After WWII he went into hiding, becoming a civilian and living among the humans withoput being discovered. When he is discovered by Nick Fury, he is approached by Nick Fury to join the League, and he becomes a founding member.

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Clint Barton, A.K.A Hawkeye, is an expert marksman who uses every kind of ranged weapon. He is famed for his trick arrows and trained with Green Arrow in the military. He became a part of the League when Nick Fury assigned him to the League Initiative.

The Flash, fastest man alive, is Wally West. In tune with the speed force, Wally can travel at the speed of light, and sometimes faster. He has stopped many villains in his years as a superhero. He became a member of the League after helping during the White Martian invasion.

King of Atlantis and brother to Aquaman, the Prince, Sub-Mariner has protected the earth since World War 2. He posesses superhuman strength, durability and flight, and has fought against gods in his travels. He possesses the Trident of Neptune, a magical Trident with great magical power. He joins the League when the White Martians invade earth.

A member of the Green Lantern Corps, Hal Jordan is the cosmic guardian of the Earth and possesses a power ring that can create constructs of hard light. Hal has saved the world from the likes of Sinestro, and became a member of the league when the White Martians attacked Earth.
