A super issue!!! 4 stars 0
I felt like this issue deserves 4 stars because the artwork match the story perfectly and the story was very action pack and exciting. The story had that typical old war spy movie feel from the days of the 1940's. Where the soldier is sent in to infiltrate and spy on the enemy but it ends becoming the enemy becasue he fell in love. I give this story 2.5 because it only revealed three things1. how the skrulls were able to cloak some skrulls as spys and others as suicide warriors/sleeper agents like Ironman and Captain America and all the other retro looking Avengers.2. It revealed how the disguise skrulls were able to retain its targets memories, which I found extremely scary.3. While still being a newbie to DC Universe, I found that it was a little hard to keep up with everything that was going on in the story. Perhaps if I was not a DC newbie I would be able to follow every detail in the story. As Inferiorego said before me "Still setting up the big story of the year". Its rare I give any issue the five star rating because frankly I normally see areas of improvement for the creators to capitalize on. But this one deserves the 5 star rating. love the art but not the story 1
What I did not like about this story was towards the end of the book, the villian Kanjar Ro explain his diabolical plain to the Justice League just like the villians did back in the Golden Age of comics.
