to be honest I can't make up my mind yet. I mean I been a Marvel fan since 92, and just started about two months ago got into DC, reading about 11 DC storylines and titles, and read the DC Encyclopedia.

What I 've read so far it seems to me that DC has alot of hot chicks just like Marvel does except DC's hotchicks seem to have very little mental problems and don't seem to play hard to get.

Marvel chicks are either play hard to get or as confuse as hell about men and their self-idenitity which reminds me of all the women I have dated in my life.

I love the Marvel world except for that damn Superhuman Registration Act. So I would have to say Marvel Avengers Pre civil war and the X-men recent era. DC for the chicks, I will give my answer to you guys later.

I find it hard to pick a favourite era although I don't think it would be the fanboy 90s from 281 onwards. Those years were all about silly costumes and big hair and boobs.

"

Damn Straight, one of the things I love about Jim Lee's art. But your right majority of comics back in the 90's were about Steriod Muscles, and Big boobs. Reference JLA #1 in 96.

What is your favorite time period of the X-men(Australian, Blue/Gold, O5, All-New, etc) and why?

Personally, my favorite was the Blue/Gold years. It had everyone I consider "core" X-men and some of my favorite writing(Claremont at his peak) and art(Jim Lee).

"

Me too I love the Blue and Gold years.Shatterstar said:

I think its probably whichever one you read first for most people, for me it was the Claremont/Silvestri run. Blue/Gold a close second.

Your right it is I was like 10 yrs old when I first read the X-men back in 92, and I remember reading the relaunch of X-men #1 that introduced both teams,  I liked it because I got to get a different feel with each title. X-men Blue had mostly scrappers on that team so majority of their battles was espionage and slashing battles.

X-men Gold had more of the power heavy hitters like Bishop, Forge, Colossius, Storm, Archangel and Iceman on that team. Both books offered not only heroics but also soap opera drama at times which I absolutely love. Not to mention in those days the titles crossed over much of the time.

Unfortunately I had to stop collecting X-men in 94 due money problems then life happen, and now at age 25 I am now coming back to X-men,

What is the O5 era? I remember New X-men by Grant Morrison, and the Astonishing era we are in now.

Well I've read alot of your comments and I have to disagree with some of you.
The Wolverine and Wolverine: Origins series are great especially for some long time Wolverine fans like myself who remember collecting the Wolverine Trading Card set back in 93.

Astonishing X-men needs to be abolished because it seems kinda weird them trying to be super heros like the Justice League when they are also against the superhuman registration act.

I know for sure Wolverine needs not to be in Uncanny X-men only because he's in five other books including the New Avengers. It would be better if Uncanny X-men had  a more rotating cast featuring more of their B-list mutants on it, if only if Marvel plans to continue its Astonishing X-men run.

X-men had always had a variety of different Adult mutant teams and one teenage mutant team (ex. New Mutants, Generation X, New X-men, and Young X-men). They need to keep that variety going not only for sales but also for opportunities to tell multiples storylines from different perspectives.

For example

X-factor: Now gives us a detective perspective look at mutants prior before in the 90's we got to receive a government operative group perspective.

X-force: use to give us a renegade perspective look at mutants now we get a black ops perspective.

The way I see it there is like three teams of X-men needed in additon to X-factor, X-force, and the Wolverine books.

The three teams should be divided into seperate books with storylines occasionally crossing over.
Book 1: A team of the senior X-men ex. Storm, Cyclops, Beast, Colossus, and Wolverine battling supervillans.

Book 2: A book with a rotating cast that includes mostly the B-list Mutants that have not been around since 1975, with the senior members occasionally making guest appearances

Book 3: The teenage X-men.

But heh its a franchise, now these days its not uncommon for a top popular charcter to develop into a franchise or be seen in multiple books.
Franchise means multiple books.

I think Mighty Thorion put it best when he said this:

There are so many X-books simply because the characters are so popular and Marvel know they will sell well. The same can be said about Bat/Spider/Super titles and related titles. The problem for the collector on a limited budget occurs if he or she is interested in more than one character / team. For example, do you buy the whole X-range, or do you split your money between (for arguments sake) X-books and Bat-books and risk missing something important in one title or the other?

"

Lastly Wolverine needs to stay on the New Avengers team, because from a writers perspective his persona along with Spiderman's and Luke Cage gives the book extra drama in which we crave so much of. Trust that cast is terrific and works well for the book.

"
Wow I alot of good valid points, I used to be the X-men Guru back in the day of 1993, but now I am no longer that, however I do know what terriost means, and Pania is wrong about that .

By the way to all X-factor the second incarnation was connected to the government but the 1st incarnation and the recent one is not government santioned. Although some members of the X-factor team may have some personal ties with the government from their days serving in the second incarnation.

Now back to my quote, Pania, my Fire-fighter friend and his dad both showed me how to stop a guy who is holding a gun to you, there are many ways to stop a guy with a guy either with hand combat by punching a nerve and dislocating the wrist and shoulder, or by simply throwing  a knife in his upper chest close to the shoulder.

Me too, I'm glad they are fighting in my home state  They should move more marvel teams to the west coast more often, I hope they stay in San Francisco at least for ten years. I think they should have a Denver team.

X-men 2 was great but the best I've seen were Spiderman 1 and 2, Ironman, and the Incredible Hulk, all three of those movies were executed well, they told their own verison but stayed true to the main concept and to major origins of the continuity.

I wonder if he'll do that to the Red Hulk in next month's Hulk#5? Do you think he will?

He once sent Juggernaut back in time. I believe it was their first battle....

Don't argue with him please static. This guy is literally retarded. Everytime juggernaut lost a fight he claims its bad writing. When juggernaut loses his helmet and loses the fight he says thats not how the fight is suppose to go and they should keep his helmet on him. So don't waste your time with this fanboy.

Zee Crusher, you've got to relax pal and quick calling people names. Its just comics were discusing not politics ok dude?
