He will continue to fool the public for as long as it is profitable for Marvel for him to do so.  Then there is the built in profit of him messing everything up and kick starting yet another civil war secret invasion calibur event, thus creating more profit.  Once they have squeezed the profit out of it he will fade back into the spider man rouge gallery for a bit.

I liked how Messiah Complex was done and in part Secret Invasion.  Messiah was great in that it was done weekly throughout all the xbooks so it was like an answer a week no delays.  Secret Invasion is good in the way it teases the reveal but do to the pacing of the main event the side bar stories are all contained by the main books pacing which is tedious at times.  Its nice to have a weekly story that flows instead of a whole bunch of little pieces that make you have to wait a long time between answers. 

While I enjoy any book that sparks new readers, I must say so far I would have made some better writting choices. For a death as epic and hard hitting as Martian Man Hunters was supposed to be, it was pretty played out. We have a giant group of Villians and an Uber Villian promising the other villians desires. Havent we seen that over and over again. The what does he do he stabs Manhunter in the chest in a rather unisnpired panel.

While I understand the point was to show his power amongst pwoerful villians it doesnt quite match the noir tone of the book and it wasnt an oh my god moment. Personally I would have had Libra with the Flame fellow in a car cruising down the road after Libra bailed him out asking him what he wanted. When he repliead death of Martian Manhunter I would have had Libra Said done then roll around the corner roll down the window and stab some guy just walking down the street in the head. As the guy falls he is revealed to be the Manhunter as Libra cruises away and the Human Flame just has this horrified look on his face at the brutality of it all.
