Yes.

The Milestone Comics characters gave a very realistic representation of what it's like to live in an environment like they do and how it affects their lives and why they act the way that they do.

For example, many of the members of the Blood Syndicate group were very conscious of racial relations and oftentimes bitter and cynical about them.

Essentially, they were written by someone who knows how those demographics live. Not some person who's pretending to.

In some places, no. But in other places, yes. For example, I've looked at a couple of profiles and seeing them cite specific evidence proving what they put on a character's profile for their capabilities. But other times, it's just completely inaccurate stuff edited by someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

The guy is pretty much literally never there for any of the major crisis is the guild faces. You can't help but wonder why. Does the writer have something special in mind for him? Is he going to come in and do something so amazing that it will completely wipe away his prior absences? If not, he's just a waste that character.

@marvelman92: I remember that episode and it was immensely annoying. Wasn't the leader of that group hiding the fact that she was bisexual? And didn't she only care about the rights of lesbians and not any other member of the LGBT community?

That said, ask for my opinions on diversity in comics and fiction in general, I think it's necessary. Everyone wants to look into media and see someone who's like them. People say that minorities should stop getting paid her to. But you could also make the case of saying that the straight white male is also not the default human being.

Good.

Bleach fell off the rails a long time ago. So I'm not even surprised this happened.

I like both. But Digimon has better anime, hands down. The storylines are better, we get new cast of characters comma and the plots are generally a little bit more mature. Pokemon on the other hand has better and more enjoyable video games.

@staticdwanyemcduffie: There's pretty much nothing about that book that is good. Nightwing was acting like a complete idiot in it, aka the kind of person that he never wants to be. But I wouldn't be surprised because that seems to be the only way in which Judd Winick knows how to write him. He did the same with Dick in fhe Outsiders.

Killing off Omen what's the main thing that got on my nerves. Everybody was so upset over Donna Troy getting killed, but I was mad about Lilith. Just because she's not an A List character that is super popular, her death is treated like it's not really that big a deal. Really? For all her years of service to the Teen Titans, that's what she gets? That's all? She doesn't amount to any more than that? I hate it when characters are killed off for shock value, and then their deaths aren't treated with any weight.

@metaljimmor: that's a really good point. In the Animated Series, Tarzan has pretty much part every dangerous predator that you can think of it. Rhinos, Gorillas, leopards, crocodiles, rogue elephants, and even dinosaurs.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a good one. Rurouni Kenshin is obvious. Rave Master is one of the better ones. Hajime no Ippo has pretty good character development, too.

Anyone who says DBZ in terms of quality is joking. Or high on nostalgia.
