I very much like Atum in concept. His simple presence remind even gods thst their time is limited and that one day, he'll be recycling them so their divine essence can become new gods.

I'm salty he doesn't show up more, but also glad because dudes like him should have an "oh shit" presence whenever they do come on the scene.

I'm perfectly fine with his basic abilities the way they are. If I would have to say they could add one thing, I do like the idea of Blade learning to shapeshift into mist for things like fast travel through urban environments. It wouldn't even need a contrived explanation as to how he learns it. It could be portrayed as Blade stops suppressing his vampire half to some extent.

Spirits of Vengeance was average.

@reikai: It's also important to mention that even Zaryusu, the strongest Lizardman, is only about level 20. Brain is at least nearing level 28ish. So there's really no comparison between him and them. Cocytus let them come to him, and whenever he did attack, no one survived.

@combatt: Considering he is undead, it very well may not affect him like it would a human or living being.

@thekillerklok: This is a very big problem. Monsters are only monsters if you have something human to compare them to. It when you have vampires that are living amongst the human population and not bothering anyone, and it's hard to see them as anything dangerous. But, when they are lurking in the shadows and victimizing innocent people in brutal and sadistic ways, that makes us feel as if they are the undead creatures that they really are. I'm sick of writers wanting us to believe that vampires are some misunderstood species of loners who just want companionship and understanding.

This show was my stuff back in the day. Especially season two. It as Sailor Moon done right.

Has anyone ever thought that it might be an interesting AU story where Blade keeps a page of the Darkhold and becomes something of an avatar of Chthon rather than being possessed, and stealing the powers of all evil occult beings he encounters? It could allow Blade to play on a much higher field than he usually does.
