@Cochise: I know which instance you are referring to (in regards to the beheading), but I'm talking about after the Second Crisis. Cass briefly assumed the role as leader of the League of Assassins and kills Lynx, dresses her up like Batgirl, and frames Robin for it. And I agree, I'm sure Batman knows plenty of killing techniques as well as how to defend against them. But so does Shiva. Knowing them and defending them doesn't automatically vault him to her level of killing expertise though. The fact that it was Shiva who introduced him to the infamous Leopard Paw death strike to began with shows that there is at least one example of a killing move he had not studied or heard of that she had.

Again, I'm not saying Batman doesnt know how to kill. I'm saying he hasnt shown the ability to do so on Lady Shiva's level. I agree he's one of, if not thee, most highly trained H2H combatants in the DCU. But Shiva is one of, if not thee, greatest martial arts killing machine in the DCU. Its all she does is look for top level fighters to kill. Call me fanboyish but I just cant bring myself to agree that a person that never kills can flip a switch and be as prolific as someone who all they do is death deal.

I never have actually written a, personality type" into a bio, but I do like to feel what sort of personality the character has and how did it develop. Then it becomes part of the story. Is he evil because he was influenced as such? Wrongly convicted of a crime so he has a f the law mentality? Is he good because he was trained by some sort if hero organization? I need to feel a personality before I can write the backstory/bio. Thats just my own preference.

I was thinking more of the, character concept, then the actually work. I always seem to start with a look then try to feel out his/her personality and back story. Blah

@Ash_Walmer: Climatic scenes unfolded as hostages, rescuers, and alien terrorists, collided with cinematic expressions of battle equations. Synchronized communications were displayed through the reading of motion and body language, allowing Marius to be two steps ahead of where the enemy expected. Firing down after the hostages having dove straight through the smouldering eruptions of ice and debris. A spider like strand trailing behind his dart shaped posture. Flashing his arms forward discharging a web like substance from his wrist gauntlets safely snaring the falling hostages before lowering them to the ground. Mockingly giving them a salute before the tension of his line catapulted him back up through the hole. Using the momentum to contort his body forward while systematically flipping in reverse until landing in a free roll behind a icy slab of rock. With a quick series of hand gestures he conveyed his message, "We need to find a alternate route of escape!"

@Ash_Walmer: Feral ferocity ignited as Ash launched across the cavern towards his target. Savagely delving his blade into the bone, cartilage, and arteries of the alien oppressor. Simultaneously the Blade Coda freely fell from above landing with his legs around the secondary guards shoulders before performing a spinning Hurricanrana. The violent force instantly snapping the aliens neck while Marius remained in a crouched position, once again flashing the fearless Raccoon a, "whats up" head gesture.

@Ash_Walmer: Visually unarmed Marius spread off wide yet remaining to trail behind Ash. Ignoring the dead bodies laid out in front of them as they passed by, a small trail of smoke still resonating from their head wounds. Gradually advancing into the cavern it quickly became obvious of its steadily increasing decline. The chances of multiple exit points seemingly evaporating the lower they descended. Carefully Marius removed his coat exposing his Tectonic backpack. In a sudden and unexpected display of acrobatic prowess and gravity defining theatrics, the young outlaw vaulted upwards. Stably clung to the cave's ceiling he crawled along observing the situation from an unorthodox vantage point.
