Simple, because Marvel took their time with their cinematic universe and it paid off big time for them. DC was being reactionary and was so hellbent on catching up to Marvel that it ultimately ended up ruining the quality of their movies (except Wonder Woman).

And it ultimately ended up biting them in the ass big time when Justice League bombed at the box office. At this point Black Panther is the victory lap and Infinity War is gonna be the after party.

Wouldn't it be funny if they turned Monica Lynne into an inhuman and she got back together with T'challa?

I'm curious to see how Nakia is handled in the movie. Maybe this will finally get her to come out of comic book limbo.

Change the Scoot characters name to John Corben and have him be Metallic, thus replacing Doomsday as the final villain to be fought at the end.

Why? Because by having Metallo as the villain, the movie would have much better stakes and drama because for Superman, here he is fighting a man that has been turned into a monster by not only Lex's manipulation but by his own actions at the end of Man of Steel.

And for Batman, like John he was also pissed at Superman for wrecking Metropolis but unlike Corben, he ultimately realized that Superman is not the enemy and now he has to assist him in taking down a former employee and friend of his whom he initially agreed with.

And the fight can end with the Trinity beating Metallo but not killing him, showing that everything has come full circle from Man of Steel.

I think looking at the way Black beards powers from One Piece work should serve as inspiration for how Ebon can be upgraded.
