If Batman kills Joker and they do end up bringing him back, he's put in an awkward position. "Well, you killed him once..." It pretty much makes it to where Batman has to carry through each time and off the Joker!

My least favorite change? FrankenCastle. Ugh. From a technical standpoint, Rick Remender wrote some very competent issues for such a gonzo concept. But should they have gone there? I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure we're seeing the "end" of the Vietnam era Punisher with the current PunisherMax storyline. Rucka seems to have retconned Frank as an Afghan/Iraq War veteran, which I'm okay with. Jason Aaron is giving the "original" incarnation of the character a hell of a sendoff.
I think she probably should discover it soon. Out with the sacred cows! But before she goes down that path, perhaps she should investigate why the new Superman book sucks so much.
If I had to choose, I would definitely go with the Max version. The Punisher just works better in that reality. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the MU version as well. There is a way to make the MU version of Punisher great without resorting to outlandish gimmicks such as turning him to Frankenstein's monster.
It was a great "funny" Punisher Max story. If you enjoyed the Barracuda stories, this story is very similar in tone.
A little from Column A, a little from Column B. Not only are there so many first issues for Punisher, the sampling size is so large that my list has to actually be a very well reasoned one. Humbly speaking, of course.
And thanks for moving the topic! I actually thought I *had* published it in the Punisher forum. Oops!
