Hi all :) I'm just getting into Batgirl with the New 52, I've read all the issues in the relaunch so I'm wondering, why did DC get rid of Barbara as Batgirl and paralize her in the Killing Joke? I mean...she was Batgirl, and probably the best known Batgirl, so why did they nix her as that role for 23 years?
I've been wanting to get back in Spider-Man, which I haven't read since I was a kid in the 90s, and I was advised to jump in and start reading Big Time, however I decided to just get the latest issue of The Amazing Spider-Man #676 and thought maybe I could just start reading from there on. Can someone fill me in on what's been happening so I can be up to speed? Thanx!
