I don't get why Rob has a problem with Marvel, I just assume its because they won't hire him for steady work anymore. Think the last thing was the Deadpool Corps book.

He feels that Marvel is not putting top talent on Deadpool or at least what he considers "Top Talent". I am pretty sure that Liefeld gets a cut from all the books and everything. So putting "A-List" talent on the book means Rob gets more money. Simple as that.

Marvel has featured Deadpool in multiple videogames and he is even getting his own videogame too. There are very few characters that Marvel has released a videogame for that are not directly tied into a movie or some other property.

He didn't back away from some of his comments and almost trying to shame Marvel and their talent into writing Deadpool. Why? Rob should just focus on what he can do. He has his own comics, again, which will prob not do that well considering he is so stuck on something he has very little control of. He is going to look like an idiot if the new Deadpool book is really good.

Also Marvel has been doing these teasers for the Marvel NOW! books and they put Deadpool's teaser along with Hulk, Thor and Iron Man! Doesn't sound like they are just throwing away the character. Also Rob gives me hope. Sometimes I draw and get so fusterated because I can't get the proportions the way I want. Well that doesn't matter because if Rob can do it, maybe one day I can do it.

Totally agree. I also hate when people say he is the best because he has so many powers. His pain is that his planet blew up. People he didn't even know. How is that his pain and torment? He has always lacked in his rogues gallery and doesn't even have one. Just meh. Super-meh.

I think at this point I would enjoy it if DC made a series of comics that spin off from The Dark Knight Rises. Considering Nolan isn't going back to Batman, it would be a wasted opportunity.

I hope the sequel just skips to college. Don't really need to see him still in high school. We got that. I don't really like the whole mystery they are doing with his parents because I don't think it was handled that well. There was an end scene with a shadowy figure but whats the point of it? Marvel did a good thing with it's own movies by showing the figure. It is sort of expected that the Green Goblin will be next which is fine but I am pretty sure he is going to be similar to the Ultimate version. Think Lizard but with fire powers, which just seems redundant. I don't think they should do the death of Gwen because we don't need that. It doesn't add anything to the character that has seen so much death already. I imagine they are trying to do at least 3 movies.

If they are trying to setup a more realistic universe while trying to make it major, the goal has to be big. Just like The Avengers was the major goal for Marvel's movies, I think the Sinister Six would be the goal for the third movie. These could be any six villains from the comics, one being the Lizard. Kraven the Hunter and Chameleon would make sense, due to their family ties and the somewhat realistic nature they could apply them.

Kraven could just be an assassin aka Hunter. Gets beat by Spider-Man a few times and then gets injected with a test serum that makes him more animalistic. Chameleon could just be a spy that uses makeup and other tricks. Juggling more than one villain can be a hard task but if done well it could make for a very interesting movie. Think almost like an Anti-Avengers team.

I understand what they are doing but is this all that new?

Marvel has done this before after major events, biggest being Civil War. Not judging costumes yet but wonder how it will all play out. I doubt we will get "magic" as the reason for everything changing.

I don't know why they just didn't call it "Green Arrow", like Arrow is so different. Maybe the stigma from the Green Lantern movie? Also, Arrows are very in this year: Hunger Games, Avengers, Brave and now this. Biggest thing for Christmas!

Why?

Honestly the art doesn't look that exciting and the concept just seem blah. This has been done before with the Avengers also. Trying to retcon and fit these stories in just seems weird. It will end with everyone loosing their memory or dead.

How? And if they could, it would have made Episode 3 much better. Darth Maul was a cool looking character that never got to reach his potential. But the prequels are a joke anyway. Wonder if they are going to do proper sequels down the road to redeem the franchise.
